  1. Non-Chinese pro players using tacky chinese rubbers?

Dima once tried H3 Neo on FH, switched back
  2. China Super League 2017

You seem to forget that Fan Zhendong is just 20 years old. At what age Ma Long first became the #1?
  3. China Super League 2017

funny, I think FZD is a lot stronger than LGY and is going to be the #1 very soon.
  4. Spin and control rubbers for Gergely Tamca 5000 (2011)

Well for the kind of play you described I would not pick the TAMCA blade, it's pure carbon without arylate and not really that good for spin play. The ALC should be much better for that kind of play. If you want to play a smash/counter/block game, then by all means take the TAMCA.
  5. DHS Hurricane 3 neo lack speed?

Does not make much of a difference. I’d pick 2.0
  6. DHS Hurricane 3 neo lack speed?

forgiving rubber and you suggest vega pro? wow. that is nowhere near a forgiving rubber and wayyy too fast for him. he should get a vega intro or something like that. he often even missed the ball, how can you suggest a vega pro?
  7. Classic Records and never seen video ! first one ►Waldner - Li Gun Sang 1988 !

If anyone got old VHS tape to digitalize, I got the equipment and I know a few things about that, like color correction, sharpening and so on. So if any of you got old tapes you can send them to me and I will do that and upload them to YouTube.
  8. New Nittaku Nexcel ball

Hey guys, on the official ITTF equipment list there is another new ball from Nittaku, the "Nittaku Nexcel 40+*** (Plastic with seam)". I heard it's another material, not ABS and the name suggest it is similar to CELulloid? That would be great :)
  9. Nittaku SD ball

As far as I know it's just a relabelled DHS ball.
  10. DHS Hurricane 3 neo lack speed?

First I think it's great that you are playing with a coach and that you post your videos, that takes some courage. The problem is definitely your technique, not your racket. And i'm also sure that your equipment is not optimal for your development. Your backhand rubber is wayyy too fast for...
  11. Chinese Pro Equipment - Rubbers and Blades

I think we are arguing over the term 'grey area' A grey area exists if the legal situation is unclear and up to interpretation. This is not the case here at all. It is clearly forbidden. The fact that they can not prove that the players are boosting is something entirely different.
  12. Chinese Pro Equipment - Rubbers and Blades

A rule which is not enforceable does not mean it's a grey area. It's not allowed, ITTF made it pretty clear, any physical treatment, for example boosting, is forbidden, there are also plenty of statements by ITTF and its officials where they say that. but yes, it does not really make a...
  13. Chinese Pro Equipment - Rubbers and Blades

This is not correct, boosting is not allowed. Check ITTF rules
  14. Xiom Vega Intro

Plays like a glued classic (Sriver/Coppa/Mark V) really good for beginners and control in general, great in short games but with moderate catapult. Superb for learning technique. The best thing is that's it has a medium hard sponge, not a soft one like most slower tensors.
  15. China Super League 2017

    2) Fan Zhendong 0:3 Shang Kun (4:11, 9:11, 8:11) wow
  16. Footwork

put weight on your ankles in training. do footwork drills like falkenberg and 3 point forehand.
  17. Project "First Chinese Rubber"

Then you must have done something wrong. Hurricane 3 is a really long lasting rubber. Do you clean it? Do you use a protection sheet? I have used mine now for 6 months and playing at 90% I'd say.
  18. 1.9 -> 2.1 or slightly faster blade

Those blades you mentioned are a lot faster. I‘d go with a Primo Off- or a Korbel (same plies but thicker)
  19. DHS Hurricane 301?

Well I did not test the 301 but I can tell you that the Fang Bo Carbon is a bit stiffer than the Long V (old version). It's not super stiff or so though, just a bit stiffer. I got one for sale by the way, message me if you are interested. 35 Euro. I would think the 301 is probably the stiffest...
