  1. difference between Carbon

Why would you recommend a player coming from an allround blade an Off+ W968 for hundreds of euros? even if he was going for that kind of blade he could just get the fang bo carbon which is really similar, most w968 are fakes anyway. you don't even know his level of playing and given...

    Sold, sorry
  3. difference between Carbon

I would go to inner carbon or 7ply all wood if you come from a 5ply alround
  4. World Tour Grand Finals 2017

    FZD will take this one
  5. difference between Carbon

first you have to differentiate between inner carbon and outer carbon blades. so W968, W997, N301 BTY Innerforce, Acoustic Inner Carbon, Waldner Senso Carbon etc are all Inner Carbon blades. They feel quite woody and the carbon only kicks in on at least medium hard strokes. Usually a bit easier...

  7. Chopper vs attacker in final of Bristol Junior open 4 star event Dec 2017

  9. New league season – what’s your goal?

So I finished first half of the season with 13:6 and made more than 100 TTR :) I am pleased with the results although I think i could have won 2 more of those games. After all a good comeback after a break of a few years. :)

Yes. Same plies but the handle is a bit different. I think the blade size is the same for the new model. I got one for sale btw.

  13. DHS H301 Blade, My Review

That behavior you mentioned comes from the positioning of the Carbon layers. This is an innerforce kind blade. The Carbon only Kicks in on high power Shots.
  14. First Bat Advice please

Vega Intro plays like a glued Sriver, really moderate glue effect tho. Perfect for beginners.
  15. First Bat Advice please

    Me too, good choice.
  16. First Bat Advice please

The thing is... Premade bats are often glued in a way that you can not remove the rubber without destroying the blade. Something like a Stiga or Donic allround blade can be used forever basically. There are people in Germany with 2000 TTR rating (2400ish USATT) who play with those blades.
  17. First Bat Advice please

The thing I don't like about soft sponges for beginners is that it's easy to engage the sponge. It should be harder so that you feel the difference between the right contact and just hitting. at least take a medium sponge like vega intro, not a super soft one.
  18. First Bat Advice please

H3 Neo is probably the most played rubber on the planet. I think it's very easy to use and especially good for technique learning since the rubber does not a lot itself, it's not bouncy or something like that, you have to do proper strokes if you want the ball to land on the table. Tenergy and...
  19. First Bat Advice please

You could go for the Euro route or the China route :) I would recommend Stiga Alround Classic or Donic Applegreen Alplay and all those 5 ply allround blades for rubbers I'd go with H3 Neo on the FH and Xiom Vega Intro for the BH or just both sides Xiom Vega Intro. Vega Intro is a mild and very...
  20. China Super League 2017
