  1. Swedish Open 2017

Can someone ask Dan to do a close-up photo of FZD's racket, so we can read the blade serial number?
  2. The most aesthetically pleasing serve for you?

    Fan Zhendong's reverse pendulum serve:
  3. Fan Zhendong using new DHS blade

Hmm, yes it does look like an 8, but it looks to be the third character and the first character doesn't look like a W. https://www.flickr.com/photos/tushilter_tt/26539833399/ Man if I had been in Magdeburg I would've taken so many pictures of their equipment :p
  4. Zhang Jike using Tenergy 05 on the forehand!

To be fair nobody looks good while performing difficult table tennis shots. Case in point: P.S How can I post larger versions of my pictures?
  5. Fan Zhendong using new DHS blade

According to them, those pictures only prove FZD is using the DHS Fang Bo _handles_ Apparently Fabian found a picture which proofs that FZD is in reality playing with a W968. I don't know how one can see that in a photo though :) The real difference between a DHS Fang Bo Carbon an a W968 is...
  6. Chinese Pro Equipment - Rubbers and Blades

Here is a photo of ZJK's FH rubber at the German Open: Source: https://www.flickr.com/photos/tushilter_tt/37598426134/ What is the difference of the "PRO" version of the DHS Fango Bo Carbon, that is the W969? and the one you and I can buy?
  7. Fan Zhendong using new DHS blade

Do you have any pictures of his BH rubber? The only one that I could find on flickr is this: Original: https://i.imgur.com/UkJtIB9.jpg Here's a close-up of FZD's blade: https://i.imgur.com/QmCJVWJ.jpg

Did you mean to post something like this? https://imgur.com/a/SdLoo Source: https:// www.flickr.com/photos/tushilter_tt/ P.S I also can't post links for some reason.
  9. DHS Hurricane 301?

Then why not get the DHS Fang Bo Carbon/2?
  10. Is there a necessity to switch from BTY Primorac or just EJing?

I'm not sure if just faster rubbers is the answer. I wanted more aggressive spin in my attacks and being able to do those attacks with easier shorter movements. I'm already doing squats and recently started adding jump rope to my exercises, doing sets of 100s.
  11. Is there a necessity to switch from BTY Primorac or just EJing?

Yes, I do have a buddy on my team who's also crazy into table tennis and we are often doing ~3 hours training sessions with different exercises. We are almost the same level, which also means that we are having difficulties doing really complex and demanding exercises. This is something, I...
  12. Is there a necessity to switch from BTY Primorac or just EJing?

Thank you all for your comments! I'll stick with my current setup, like I said to myself I would before this season started  I already know that my biggest weakness is my footwork, that's why my Youtube channel and this account is called "Steh Tischtennis", which translates to...
  13. Is there a necessity to switch from BTY Primorac or just EJing?

We do have a coach, but he is mostly just overseeing and explaining the training exercises once a week and gives me short hints and comment like "Do this lower, faster, more hip movement". Not really a 1-on-1 training situation with multi ball drill and individual training.
  14. Is there a necessity to switch from BTY Primorac or just EJing?

My thinking was: if any change in my setup does hurt (even going from Primo to Korbel) then why not do an even bigger jump to something even more extreme. Honestly I thought that a change to a stiffer more "advance" equipment goes hand in hand with a skill increase. Like youngsters, who change...
  15. Is there a necessity to switch from BTY Primorac or just EJing?

Hi there, in the last few months I made great progress and even reached a German rating of over 1500, which is a personal best for me. This was quickly followed by a dip, which I even expected, because I personally would not estimate myself with that rating with my current skill set...
  16. Men's World Cup 2017

ITTF did a close-up of Ma Long's racket before his match against Timo Boll. https://imgur.com/a/GAXt6 To me the stamping on the red rubber looks to be from DHS. ITTV link starting around 02:32 https://tv.ittf.com/video/ma-long-boll-timo/1009887
  17. Which chinese rubber play like tenergy 05

What about XIOM Vega Pro, which is supposed to play somewhat similar like T05 and can be had at around 26 Euros (30 US $ or 41 Singapore $)
  18. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Well, it's always relative :) Compared to my Butterfly Primorac the Korbel definitely plays harder and more stiff, despite differing only in wood layer thickness.
  19. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Yes, I've also watched that match, but Sven said than I should only watch the other one, because it's the "better" match :P
  20. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Interesting... I think I'll test this with the Yinhe Y-4 ALL+ carbon blade when the new plastic balls will become mandatory in Germany in 2019. Don't you think a blade like the Butterfly Korbel, which is quite hard and stiff, but still an all wood blade, would be easier to play than an ALL+...
