Totally real, he can also skateboard on those nunchucks instead of on wheels and a board. If you aren't a troll I'm guessing you haven't played long. The ball doesnt stop flying midair for people to hit it. Also balls break. The force exerted by the nunchucks would break the ball. Mythbusters...

and they're coaching your opponent. definitely worth listening to their advice to you >.> nah, I honestly can't see coaches doing that to other players. make yourself look bad as a coach and rep goes down the drain.

Good quote. The salmon goes against the flow. Getting to higher levels we must do the same, should we not? Pick a style and stick to it sounds better for improvement than change whenever problems arise. Regardless of my argumentative talk, perhaps I should just be water. No worries, let the...

@carl, again mega jealous of the crowd you've come to be close with! ariel is my favorite female player! One of my highlights in my meetings with table tennis players comes from meeting you carl. And that picture with mike landers, me, and you.

100% agree, I ask almost all of my opponents that I play frequently what my playing style is. The answers are always different. Maybe I play to whatever weakness I find. Maybe I just play the style of the opponent usually? But theres one thing that's stuck out. From my primary club I can ask...

I went on a 2 week break from table tennis only to come back better for some reason. Or so I thought. My backhand was better and I played to it. Yesterday, I went to the club and played fantastic for me. My coach had watched my matches. I went to lessons with her today (first time in a month and...

@carl Super jealous of the crowd you get to play with. Lots of insight from high level players is awesome to recieve. We all experience "discoveries" that help our game and make us better. Maybe a new way to return a ball or create better whip mechanics or just some tiny things we notice that...

Part of my stance probably has something to do with being taught by a woman. Close to the table play and whatnot. But who knows. Core is important to develop anyway so I'll probably just go with it as a temporary excuse, worse case scenario, I doesn't help my stroke but I become more in shape...

Long pip pro's out there I call for your help. I have recently found out the long pips I was using were medium. Now I've swapped them with some spongeless, discontinued frictionless illegal ones. WOO! What were your favorite long pips from the past which would be illegal now? also sponge or...

So today I played FANTASTIC, and it's mostly thanks to you guys. In the past, I knew my backhand was better than my forehand in quite a few aspects but I never considered myself a backhand dominant player. Once the realization was made that I shouldn't be going for forehands as much as I did in...

My grip helps too. Easy wrist movement and soft touch. Try without your fingers wrapped around the handle at all and it would be much easier. You've gotten much more difficult control tricks down so this should be easy for you. I saw your Freitas bouncing on the edge of a table. THAT takes...

Pimple structure on the topsheet is different. So thin long pimple will have less restriction against the ball that's digging in. Making them feel softer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's funny, some players throw the ball at their racket to test the spin of their rubber or whatever. I can't throw the ball at my racket or I lose control completely, can't even spin the ball if I do that. Even when serving, you see players hit the ball out of their hand or toss the ball into...

the first video I posted yesterday was similar to this, but I couldn't do it with both sides of the raquet back in fourth for a long time. philipe (the good player that played against the one with "bad form" in another thread) actually taught me how to do it the more difficult way.

  18. MX-S vs. H3N

mx-s felt great to start. after a couple weeks it felt dead. and it didn't make up for the lack of tack that h3 would have. Both require being in place for the stroke to work well. mx-s in my opinion would be an in between of an old rubber like mark V and a chinese rubber mixed together.

the bad habits that are showing up are driving me crazy. coach has been back in china for 3 months now and everything feels to be falling apart in my form. (especially timing in this video)
