  2. Adhesive vs non-adhesive protection film

The adhesive xiom foil actually has 2 pieces in the package, both with different designs. One being large as you see there, and the other having hundreds of mini peni all over Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Tiago Apolonia ZLC

Completely agree with NL about wanting to see their hitting when they review equipment. A few times I've read reviews by people and thought "wow this sounds perfect" only to see their gameplay later and think to myself "wow this guy has no idea what he's doing" So when you read that I say it's...

  5. Tiago Apolonia ZLC

.1mm, apolonia is smaller. thinner blade has a little more flex. it's such a small difference that it really doesn't change the characteristics much at all. I guess technically apolonia would be a tiny bit better for looping and not quite as good for hitting.
  6. Tiago Apolonia ZLC

Composition of Apolonia ZLC and innerforce layer zlc is the same, however innerforce layer thickness is different. Both these blades have a composition of Limba-Limba-zlc-Ayous-zlc-Limba-Limba composition of timo boll zlc is way different. KOTO-ZLC-Limba-Ayous-Limba-ZLC-KOTO
  7. How to play against flat hitters.

Forehand backspin flips are super hard to execute. Reminds me of the time I got my first side-under-chop-loop (with the forehand of course). Oh the memories
  8. Adhesive vs non-adhesive protection film

I purchased this, it's adhesive for those of you wondering.
  9. Shuki Development and Questions

Forgot about this thread, actually kinda nice to see the bump. I might get back to posting here again. Started a table tennis club at my college and we just registered for NCTTA. As president of the club I'll be playing quite a bit and hope to improve. This is a good reason to bust out the...
  10. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

There are always exceptions if we look for them. Ilya, Near 2000 level player from my club. plays with anti-spin on one side. Suffers from parkinsons. Picks his angle, doesn't move forward since the nerves actually push against what he says to do. Just pokes with the antispin until theirs a...
  11. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

that's why I asked the still unanswered question. what do you consider high level. dealing with your spin isn't the only way to play the game. preventing you from being able to do it is also an option. I didn't say I could stop all your spin consistently without putting my raquet through the...
  12. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

What do you consider high level? I don't think whip mechanics are necessary. I believe they can sure as hell make the game easier and your shots more powerful, but not a necessity.
  13. How to play against flat hitters.

most penholders I play love when I do a slow heavy topspin loop >=[ . I quickly noticed the trend among you monsters smacking those back at me and stopped.
  14. How to play against flat hitters.

and if you're flicking every third ball, they know you're going to flick it. you've told us very little about their game, just that they flat hit your opener back fast. so what do you think this means? well most likely they're a counter hitter and WANT you to attack first. so take your time and...
  15. How to play against flat hitters.

sakumi, by the way you're writing it's pretty clear you're a pretty new player still. not much experience with different styles. the part of table tennis that makes someone better, is figuring out their style and learning how to deal with it appropriately. don't just do the same thing if it's...
  16. How to play against flat hitters.

after your third ball don't hover over the table if they're hitting it back fast again. you should understand that if your third ball comes back then you can do a 5th ball from off the table. if you're saying you don't have time after your third ball your stroke is probably too big with too much...
  17. How to play against flat hitters.

you have options. 1. don't give them a ball that's too high. they can't flat hit a ball fast if it's too low. 2. you can't passively block these close to the table so don't do this 3. if you're close to the table you need to be prepared to actively counter hit the ball. not loop the ball...
  18. Innerforce vs Innerforce LAYER handles

I like smaller handles. Since I choke up so high on the blade I want very little hand since I don't hold the handle much. I say huge but it's only huge in comparison to the old model.
  19. Innerforce vs Innerforce LAYER handles

compared flared and straight. butterfly's dimensions of the handle say flared should be 100x25mm, and straight should be 100x23mm. however the straight one I have in the older model is significantly smaller in every dimension
  20. Innerforce vs Innerforce LAYER handles

Recently I started dabbling with the innerforce layer alc. The handle is much larger than the handle of the regular innerforce zlc that I had used in the past. I was surprised to find almost no information online about the old model's handle and the change they made when switching to the...
