  1. Question about Shakehand variations

I really like how he explains what some grips helped him with and made other parts more difficult, this can really help players realize that there is no perfect grip for them. They really have to just find what's comfortable for themselves and go with it. Your video and advice helped me far...
  2. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Today I played some more players at my club. Two of which were over 2000. Lost in the 5th to the first one. I blame his superior service. I beat the second player 3-0 convincingly. Good matchup for me though very fun set of games and I have super respect for him. And then I played my practice...
  3. Question about Shakehand variations

Oh. And why hasn't anyone linked that experttabletennis dudes video of different shakehand grips yet. I know I'm not the only one to keep thinking of that video as some reference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Question about Shakehand variations

What the hell is a standard grip. And why did arch get to decide what the standard is. I want a vote on what the standard shakehand grip should be. I think a player as new as arch shouldn't be the one to decide what a standard grip is. Especially when he hasn't had time to test different grips...
  5. why P balls are about twice as expensive ?

I'll buy them. We hate the poly balls my coach uses anyway. Just waiting on butterfly to email me back about my discount. Since they're guaranteed to price match anywhere that a legitimate butterfly product is sold, and then give an additional 10% on that difference. I'm lucky enough to have...
  6. Question about Shakehand variations

I also used words like I need to make a video about it. because it goes pretty in depth. That was the shortened version of how I could explain finger pressure and grip. To the way you interpreted it, I would say something like; Imagine you're doing a relaxed forehand loop and how your wrist...
  7. Question about Shakehand variations

Maybe YOU can't turn the paddle enough with finger pressure alone. But I sure as hell do. I'm not saying the wrist doesn't turn. It's the finger pressure that causes the wrist to turn. No wrist muscles being used to turn it.
  8. Free Chack

4 out of 5 rating for Free Chack The rubber is very thick which is good for porous rubbers. It wont seep into the pores so you can just allow it to dry and then it's great. The problem is taking the rubber off the blade can chip the blade if you don't laquer it well, it's also pretty difficult...
  9. why P balls are about twice as expensive ?

Okay after quite a bit of research I've yet to find any information on the MASTER QUALITY BALL G40+ has anyone tried them or found a review of them? Or must I be the first to buy a batch.
  10. Question about Shakehand variations

Okay. Here's my short version first. I'll make a video of important parts of the grip tonight. Everyone's grip is different in SOME way. There is no correct shakehand grip. There are however incorrect shakehand grips. The most important part of a players grip is jay it allows them to use...
  11. why P balls are about twice as expensive ?

My conspiracy theory: they have the technology to make better training balls. But why release them when they have so much overstock of the crap ones still. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Share your Racket's Photo

White ash-white ash- kiri. Comes with certificate of authenticity that not only explains each ply and even what the handle is made of and weight. But also adheres to ittf rule blah blah about 80% wood. I'll take a picture of it tonight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Review by 'Shuki' on item 'Free Chack'

The rubber is very thick which is good for porous rubbers. It wont seep into the pores so you can just allow it to dry and then it's great. The problem is taking the rubber off the blade can chip the blade if you don't laquer it well, it's also pretty difficult to get the glue off the rubber so...
  14. Please help. Please Don't ignore. Very Urgent . BLADE SELECTION

A professional player may care about their equipment quite a bit but they'd also have the equipment readily available to test out instead of going to a forum where there may be one or 2 professional players to ask advice to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Question about Shakehand variations

Not sure if I should explain what's wrong with some of what arch is saying and wrong with boogars grip change or just let it go. After all, it's not an advice thread. He was just excited to talk about the changes in his game with his grip change. Why take that excitement away from him. Sent...
  16. Please help. Please Don't ignore. Very Urgent . BLADE SELECTION

Professional player. To be a professional you must make a living off of what you're doing. Semi- professional is someone who makes money but not enough to rely on as their only income. If you're truly a professional you'd know the blade choice isn't important in making you a better player...

I don't think I'm overestimating them. Could be though. I listened to the ratings they said they had. Looked one of them up and he was truthful, although he only had one tournament under his belt it could easily be a fluke. My club is odd rating wise. We have quite a few players at 1500 and...
