  1. importance of physical preparation

What types of physical preparation would you recommend.
  2. How do you politely tell someone you don't want to play with them?

club rules are there for a reason, if we didn't have a way of forcing players off a table like we do by putting your paddle down on the table declaring that you get the next game. A lot of players would be stuck not playing throughout their entire time there.
  3. Blade with alot of vibration?

comparing it to the stiga graphite, since that's what the OP is currently using.
  4. How do you politely tell someone you don't want to play with them?

The problem is that I actively go to the amateur players on my own because I don't want to just not let them have a game with someone at a bit of a higher level throughout the entire night. But then I get stuck. The way our club works, a player puts their paddle down next to a table and that...
  5. Blade with alot of vibration?

not a LOT of vibration though
  6. How do you politely tell someone you don't want to play with them?

So every day I go to my local club, I try and play at least one "amateur" player because they're usually scared to put their paddle down and challenge the intermediate/good players. I've come across a problem now though. Since have always been friendly with all the newbies, they're all...

  8. Shuki Development and Questions

yup, it's uploaded but i'm waiting on the okay from the other guy in the video, I sent it to him through email since it's private at the moment. It's a player I'm better than by quite a bit but he also doesn't want to look bad out there on the internet if he thinks he played too poorly.
  9. Shuki Development and Questions

upon watching the video, I also noticed I don't do any of the things we were talking about against players I have experience against. It's more of something I do when it's a player I've never played and I'm feeling them out still.
  10. Review of the STIGA Genesis Rubber

Thank you yogi, can't wait to see the detailed review! also did you weigh it uncut?
  11. Blade with alot of vibration?

thinner core will make it vibrated more but it also adds more flexibility to your blade. what didnt you like about the second hand stiga graphite? anything that doesn't vibrate exactly the same as your first one will have a different feel.

Recorded gameplay today, uploading privately first. My opponent wants to see the video before letting me show other's the game.

  16. Modern rubbers

The question for the op still really wasn't answered and now he thinks mxp is just the best choice for him even though it wasn't one of the options he gave us and we know almost nothing about his level or his game to give the advice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Modern rubbers

Revitalizing a rubber isn't something most players do when their rubber dies. 6 month old mx-P is still more lively than brand new mark v or sriver. You're right, if you know how to get that rubber to act better again then you can get quite a bit more use out of it than most players. But I...

Thanks for all the helpful responses guys. I won't be bumping this until I get some new footage. Multiball footage Sunday. But no gameplay footage opportunities for a week or so I believe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Shuki Development and Questions

More on why I play the data collecting, and conditioning comes from my background. I used to play a pretty popular video game called street fighter and a pretty damn high level. In that game at high level there's very little execution error and the player who collects data quickest and...
  20. Shuki Development and Questions

Remember when we played at spin and what I thought was lobbing you told me was actually fishing because the ball wasn't high enough to kill and it was placed strangely. Even though I was off the table sending it back slow you said they were good quality returns. Those are the safe returns I'm...
