  7. Advice need for new blade splintering problem

If they truly do a good job on the packaging, the blade shouldn't be damaged like that in the shipping unless the box was thrown against concrete in the first place. You can't get that kind of damage with some soft knocks.
  8. Gluing rubbers affect performance?

Try to look at your rubber with light reflecting on it upon different areas. This will easily show air bubble for glue job and the uneven-ness of the glue application itself. A flawless glue job means there are no wavy-ness from the light reflection. Ever since i got my tube roller, i could...
  9. Need Help in 3rd Ball Attack Against Long Pimp

The theory of long-pips is basically spin reversal. If you put a lot of backspin, the ball is going to come a with a lot of topspin and vice versa.
  10. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Had a "tryout" for the college team and didn't manage to get in. It's really tough to get in in the first place since its members are 2000+ players (with 2 ex-pro players) I went back to my TBS and put rakza 7 on both sides. Pushing is harder with how faster the blade is but having the whole...
  11. Cleaning rubbers

How der_echte is doing it, is a wonder to me. My tenergy 05 is 6 weeks old and I already can tell the performance dropped. Spin mark also starts to show up on it. My 2600 clubmates told me my FH loop is really spinny though so that's probably why
  12. Biggest Downfall of the Plastic Ball

This. Human develops muscle memory after doing the same thing repetitively after all. Having practice with the same balls for 3 months and then required to adjust to a different ball for a competition is frustrating. Not to mention that I'm having competitions soon that use chinese seamed...
  13. An all wood flexible Off+ blade?

Like what carl said, you can't get a flexible blade that's fast. If you don't know what to get, just get OSP Virtuoso+ PS: Thanks carl NOW I CAN'T USE MY TBS ANYMORE :(
  14. Backhand rubbers

This is absolutely wrong. MX-P is as fast or faster than T64 and T64 is faster than T05. MX-P is also harder than T05 in terms of feel.
  15. About my new Tibhar equipment

IMO with tenergy 64, you need to blast the ball at high speed to get a good spin. It's doesn't have the ability to create tons of spin at speed like T05 can. But, T64 is just amazing for blocking and punching.
  16. Backhand rubbers

I'm not a fan of vega japan. The topsheet has too much tension resulting in low dwell time on the rubber. This might be because I'm a tenergy user and tenergy has a really mushy topsheet. How about MX-P? I like how despite being fast, it's a good rubber for pushing and a lot of spin. I use...
  17. Fan Zhendong equipment

I believe in last year super league or this year olympic warm up games he was using viscaria handle
  18. Dimitrij Ovtcharov using Hurricane rubber at World Cup 2016!

Sometimes there also can be placebo effect in play.
  19. Need help on blade

MJ SZLC feels harder, with more crisp feeling and bigger sweet spot compared to apolonia ZLC. It's a more linear blade in terms of speed but it is a half or a notch faster than apolonia. Are you having problem with viscaria when you're pushing? I think when it comes to looping, ALC or ZLC comes...
  20. (Advice) for my first custom bat

What's your current budget? I typically spends more on the blade. Since blade price tag really shows on the build quality and the overall durability.
