  1. My Mizutani Super ZLC Plus Tenergy 05

As someone who uses the same setup (MX-P for the red rubber not T05), it's a very nice setup. However, if you're somewhat of being serious in the training and developing skills, I'd drop that setup. It's simply too fast for beginners who are trying to develop the proper strokes with control.
  2. How does different types of chinese rubber play?

Hurricane and skyline are yiur traditional chinese rubber. These rubbers typically use the topsheet more to generate spin hence more brushing technique is required. Tinarc and goldarc are your hybrid eu/jap sponge with chinese topsheet that's less tacky. The sponge are porous like tensors and...
  3. Blade Combi for tenegy 05 on BH and hurricane 3 on fh

I recommend YEO for setup like this. YEO does wonder to chinese rubbers
  4. German Team Doctor: Plastic ball may be reason for injuries

The double fish 40+ balls NCTTA using are absolute trash, breaking left and right. I use nittaku 2- star and 3-star premium balls and i cant feel how much spin I'm putting on the DF balls
  5. Looking for Blade and Rubber combination

Waldner ultra senso is a good blade and unless you dont like it, just stick with it. As for the rubber, getting a slower setup is always a good thing to develop control. Perhaps something like xiom vega pro or DHS Tinarc 3 on FH and xiom vega europe on BH? Or you could always flip the jp03 to...
  6. World championships - time for a change?

I'm not sure whether ITTF put their own people in charge of the nitty gritty part of the events and the settings or they just let the management of the place taking care of it. If the latter is true, it's not that surprising for them to screw up the overall atmosphere of the event. Malaysia...
  7. Recommended forehand rubbers

Airoc M imo is indeed a pretty weird rubber. A lot of people would agree Tenergy 05 is probably the best FH rubber one can get. Tenergy 05 while being very spinny is a very sensitive rubber as well. Some of the more agressive players like mizutani for example prefers Tenergy 80 over Tenergy 05...
  8. Tibhar Evolution is like Tenergy 05?

Yes, different feeling but the same quality of play in terms of speed and spin. I could twiddle between T05 and MX-P all day long and only the feeling is different
  9. Tibhar Evolution is like Tenergy 05?

MX-P is the rubber that comes closest to Tenergy 05. MX-P however feels crispier while tenergy has that mushy feeling. MX-P perhaps is slightly faster and has slightly less spin and slightly lower throw angle but it's so slight, the stroke you'll play with MX-P are the same strokes you'll play...
  10. New paddle Rubber choice

My suggestion is just to go with MX-P on FH and EL-P BH if you like a harder setup. If you like softer setup, EL-P on FH and Vega Europe DF (new vega europe) on BH.
  11. Diff between ALC and ZLC. Any comments on innerforce layer ZLC vs JM ZLC

In short, amazing. I have a pretty bad habit of being out of positon and not hitting on the sweetspot and so using a blade with super large sweet spot is nice. Most of my friends who tried my blade says it's so fast and explosive which is true.
  12. Diff between ALC and ZLC. Any comments on innerforce layer ZLC vs JM ZLC

Well, I use super zlc and own a M.Maze. What i can tell you is that zlc will be faster than ALC if you use something like TB ZLC compared to TB ALC. ZLC in general has less feedback but IMO it's better on touch games conpared to ALC
  13. Desperate cry for blade advice

If you want something that has power, even compared to TBS you'll kinda have to go with carbonado 145 or perhaps even something like the super ZLC line up given that you still want a pretty good control out of the blade. However, they are super expensive
  14. Share your Racket's Photo

The "this shit is too good for me setup"
  15. Advice on setup

Then you're probably a bit screwed :( Even with Tenergy 05, it's absurdly hard creating a lot of spin with those balls. Also, when in doubt, open your wallet and order a sheet of Tenergy 05 or MX-P then stop worrying :p
  16. Advice on setup

My suggestion is to get the nittaku balls that are made in japan. Butterfly made in china balls are just a normal chinese seamed plastic balls and they are simply terrible. I dont think you need to change your rubbers, bluefire and rakza are great rubbers. Heck, most tensor rubbers are great
  17. Advice on setup

Rather than changing the rubber, make sure you're using a good plastic ball first. Nittaku 2-star and 3-star balls that are made in japan is so far the spinniest plastic ball i've yet to try. Its size is also really similar to the celluloid balls. However at times the balls would dip on...
  18. Liu Guoliang Talks About CNT's Equipment Change

ZFD is most probably using viscaria or TBS with stiga handle, just like dima
  19. Carbon or wood?

I feel like this is the same as saying we don't need to eat anything everyday than potato, boiled eggs and lettuce because that's all you need to survive. Plenty of people EJ not because they are looking equipments to improve their game, but just as curiosity and looking for something they like
  20. Carbon or wood?

Unless you have some weird play style, switching rubbers or blade won't affect the game very much. I would switch between all wood to ALC to Super ZLC in a single session and as long as the rubbers are tensor / tenergy, I would get the swing angle in 5 minutes. The big changes happen when...
