I don't know if anyone could say V+ is too slow for them. My loops still go fast enough with it. As for the rubber, Rakza 7 plays really nice with V+. It feels crisp with good speed and spin ratio. I could slow loop, fast loop, punch and do most of things with it.

What you need isnt a setup that's backhand oriented, you need an overall beginner friendly setup that can help you develop both FH and BH

What you are experiencing is basically how MX-P plays. It has a really hard sponge and kills all feedback from the blade. What I recommend is to get all wood blades such as tibhar stratus power wood and perhaps rakza 7 on FH with rakza 7 soft on BH

I dont know how it works with stiga, but you might be able to ask heavy blade or the heavy batches of the genesis
