Anyone actually tried the Sanwei 75 inner ALC? Looks good on paper and in pictures.

Nothing is "remarkably more" or "much better" between the two rubbers. Very simliar.

I recall speculations that the Sieger PK50 is the same rubber as Joola Tango PS. Does anyone know how it really is? The Sieger is available in 1.8 and 2.0 while the GTPS only in max theses days.

I've compared to a couple of Viscarias (one heavier than the CSC, one lighter) and I agree with you. The CSC is a faster and stiffer blade. Even if it's inner carbon it's thicker and the carbon is different. Feels harder as well.

Larger head means more rubber which means heavier total and balance away from the handle.

People seem to have different experiences and opinions but I'd say it is somewhere in between "classic eurojap" and "classic chinese". Hard but still somewhat bouncy. More dead and dampening than a T05 for sure. I switched back to tenergy (on BH) but I'm not winning more or less matches! :)

G09c has a much harder feel than T05. The non-09c-version of Glayzer would probably be a better choice.

Would this not be dependant of the weight of the individual blade?

Isn't the Glayzer 09c topsheet supposed to be the same as Dignics 09c? Might be worth a try if it is the topsheet that activates the butterflies in your stomach.

My guess is that Glayzer is more linear than G1. All tensors have a sort of threshold where the ball just fly away.

Pros are one thing but for us amateurs it makes sense to have easier short game on backhand and easier opener on forehand. Thus: hard bh-rubber, softer forehand-rubber.

The fastarcs used to have 2.0 as maximum. Think they produce G1 in 2.1 these days though. Just to mention another rubber series with relatively thin max sponge.

But not only choppers use 1.7. The difference between 1.7 and 1.9 is not that big and slightly more control (and yes, a little less speed) and a bit less weight benefits a lot of players. Maybe not on forehand but on backhand. But I guess they know what they are doing. At least what the make...
