  1. 🌎 🇩🇪 TTD Forum Meet Up in Düsseldorf - September 11th, 12th & 13th 🇩🇪 🌎

Now that FZD is in Dusseldorf, a meet and greet would be stellar.... ;)
  2. Is there such a big difference between all of the versions of DHS Hurricane 3?

Thanks @DrBean ! Yeah there is no 100% match for a hurricane 3 neo well boosted, if it existed many people would use it haha I think the closest I've tried was Battle 2 provincial blue, but the throw was lower and I enjoyed that less, personal taste though. Btw, I have about 10-15 rubbers now...
  3. WTT Champions Chongqing 2026 Presented by AITO (10 - 15 March 2026)

That 8-5 point just now in the 4th set was insane
  4. WTT Champions Chongqing 2026 Presented by AITO (10 - 15 March 2026)

what a great game from miwa!!!
  5. Is there such a big difference between all of the versions of DHS Hurricane 3?

Thickness depends on you, I explained a bit what to do, if it's your first time, do 39 orange sponge. For first time users, no need to boost, get used to the feeling, and then see, later, sure, you can boost once and then again after 2-3 months, you have to discover your own feeling and...
  6. Is there such a big difference between all of the versions of DHS Hurricane 3?

Yes, please see this: https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/dhs-hurricane-3-neo-the-complete-amateur-guide-review.38949/ :) I'm sure other people will be able to help too!
  7. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

Yes agree @jonol , the one size fits all approach is too generalistic and it does not take into account all the nuances that personalised advice does. That's also why I try to never talk in extremes or absolutes, it doesn't work in TT :)
  8. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

This is indeed a valid point, long term vs short term results is very important and the main point @NextLevel was making in the messages before. I also on the ego point, I could do a H3N BS 41 Ma Long Edition and only lose, but feel good about it hahaha I'd rather stick to BS 39 and admit I'm...
  9. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

V This is a very good point all over, the right gear changes with time, from the brand and from the game and from the players. And indeed we agree on linearity, I enjoy predictability more than power :) This is so true, I experience it daily at the club teaching kids vs adults, kids are like...
  10. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

This is a perfectly valid summary @NetProphet (you are not talking chocolate by any means), and indeed, many hard tacky chinese rubbers need boosting, certainly H3N to play at peak performance and how is designed to play. Yes I think you are absolutely right here, each country and culture has...
  11. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

Yeah, which are excellent discussions to have, especially for those who will later on come to this forum to check and inform themselves. For the throw and catapult, I mainly refer to the FH here, backhand as mentioned was not as bad, in fact, sometimes I preferred this to other rubbers. But for...
  12. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

I agree to this indeed for most uncoached beginners, same by the way with H3N for that matter. I think Next Level and Pongcommer explain the point here well, I have a section on my blogpost that clearly mentions 'However, this rubber might not be for you', where I explain that for uncoached...
  13. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

Yes it is true that a carbon blade is good for that, it's not easy to do, but if you can do it, it's quite rewarding! But yeah the stiga shop must be fun!
  14. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

Hahahaha thanks! As always, your stories are brilliant. I'm in the brushy-sticky cult, and as such, I cant indulge in the boing-boing ways of doing (I do ocassionally, strictly business of course), but I must say, you definitely must have broken a couple balls during that day on the video after...
  15. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

@Gozo Calderano Would love to hear a detailed review of the process towards the change ;)
  16. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

I agree, he is amazing :) Thanks!! Much appreciated ❤️
  17. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

I have this on my list for whenever I go back, I love the city, it's so beautiful and the people are very nice, plus I love the cardamon buns, sorry, I'm weak 😂 And good to know that they have a similar philosophy, Id have expected they try to sell the most expensive, it's a shop after all haha...
  18. Big Upset with W968 Golden Grand Slam Version

Yes sadly I have tore quite a bunch of DHS blades until I recently started sealing, then all is fixed and feeling was fine. It sucks, but it is what it is
  19. My Butterfly Dignics 09C Review: Why I think that most amateur players should avoid it

Thanks @NDH! it's indeed quite the active thread, I knew it would be controversial but not this much haha In any case I'm enjoying going back and forth, and I look forward to more of this conversations at the TTD event in september, I ll be there for sure, so I can't wait for people to grill my...
