  1. The rise of pickleball and padel

I have tried Pickleball and actually found it fun. It appeals to me because I used to play tennis before playing table tennis, but because I had injuries, I had to stop. Pickleball reminds me of tennis and how much fun I had and is on a lot smaller scale, with less stress on the body and smaller...
  2. Xiom TMX Outer Blade Review

I was able to get a hold of one and tried it out today. I think the blade works well with soft to medium rubbers. I was using the Gewo Nexxus EL 48 super select on fh and Omega 5 tour DF (I just had it laying around) on bh. The ball would shoot out like a rocket with little dwell time. So at...
  3. Best place to buy xiom products in us

Xiom.shop, but it is currently being transferred to a new facility hence it is unavailable at the moment, but should be up relatively soon. You can also try tabletennisstore.us
  4. Rubber progression for competing 9yo

Consider trying Xiom Omega 7 Pro or the Gewo EL 48 super select - both fantastic rubbers. Not too hard and not too soft.
  5. Tibhar Shang Kun AC vs Xiom 36.5 ALXi

You can't go wrong with the ALXi, but consider trying Xiom TMXi... lovely blade. Faster ALXi and slightly stiffer.
  6. Need Blade Recommendations

Consider trying the XIOM Hugo Hal. Excellent looping blade with ample control!
  7. W968 alternative

I use the TMXi and they feel close. Although the W968 offers a bit more feeling, the speed and control on both blades feel about the same.
  8. Tenergy 05 but less bouncy

Xiom Omega 7 Pro. Slightly less spin but has the same looping feeling and much more control.
  9. FH rubbers suggestions

The V47.5 is a much improved version of the Vega Pro / Vega X (because they are pretty much the same). More spin and speed, without a reduction of control.
  10. FH rubbers suggestions

    Lets gooo Peppe!
  11. FH rubbers suggestions

You can also give the Xiom Jekyll & Hyde V47.5 as it generates an insane amount of spin without being tacky! Its fast but not crazy fast with an abundant amount of control
  12. Asking advices for backhand

You should give the Xiom Jekyll & Hyde V47.5. Plenty of spin with good speed and amazing control. Not too fast but definitely not slow either.
  13. New enticing upcoming blade

I would say it is somewhere in between grippy and tacky... kinda like the Dignics 05.
  14. New enticing upcoming blade

Yes I am using the non-pro model with the gold lenses.
  15. Xiom Jekyll & Hyde Rubbers

I've got the chance to play with the Jekylls for over a week and here are my findings. The V47.5 (Magenta Max) feels similar to a Tenergy 05. The ball digs into the sponge and releases with a fast and spinny shot. Topspins have a medium arc, not as high as Tenergy 05. The speed feels about the...
  16. New enticing upcoming blade

So... some astonishing results. Will post pictures when I get the chance / forum allows me to. I paired my TMXi with Jekyll & Hyde V47.5 on fh and Z52.5 on bh. This blade is quiet unique and very interesting. When looping or doing drives and other aggressive attacks, the blade plays more like...
  17. New enticing upcoming blade

I am interesting in trying this blade out but coming from an outer carbon ALC blade it will probably be completely different. Anyone got any takes on this?
  18. Xiom Jekyll & Hyde Rubbers

Thank you Yogi for the splendid review. I have a few questions if you don't mind answering :) 1. I use Tenergy 05 on forehand and wanted to know which variant is the closest in terms of feeling. 2. I use Dignics 05 on backhand and wanted to know which variant is the closest in terms of feeling...
  19. Replacement for MX-P on backhand

I would highly recommend the Xiom Omega 4 pro. In my opinion, it is much better balanced than the Omega 5 and 7. Give it a try if you can. Lots of spin, abundant control, and still a quick rubber.
