  1. Does the Dignics09C worth it?

If I had to guess, it would be a lot of Rakza 7 users wanting to get into hybrid rubbers but wanted to stick with Yasaka Rakza lineup.
  2. Your Favorite Inner Carbon Blade - SURVEY

What would the same ratings be for your Stuor Harimoto? I've got about 8 hours worth of play time on mine and I'm starting to really enjoy it. I'm able to produce way more spin on most shots, my blocking has improved dramatically (especially on the forehand side with LAC). I don't know if it's...
  3. Vendor says sticky protection films destroy tacky rubbers.

I assume you don't want to apply film with its own adhesive to a rubber with a different adhesive layer since the two might interact in an unexpected way. I clean with distilled water and use non-sticky plastic sheet for all my tacky rubbers and they all seem to be in great shape. 35 hours on...
  4. WTT Finals Men Doha 2023

Harimoto looked competitive with WCQ, at least in the first two games. Whatever he was doing didn't allow WCQ to break out the heavy artillery or get in a groove (until Game 3 at least) and WCQ to make a lot more unforced errors than in any other match. It was an ugly match all around, but was...
  5. Fast blade with slow rubber or slow blade with fast rubber?

If cost is a factor then a higher speed blade with slower rubbers makes more sense. It's easy to make a blade slightly stiffer or harder for more speed whereas fast rubber requires more expensive technology and needs to be replaced. For instance, you can buy a faster all wood 7 ply for the same...
  6. Koto-inner carbon blades?

Sanwei 75 inner. You can get 4 of them for $150.
  7. Choosing between Innerforce ZLC's

Uncut, LAC was 69g uncut and 49g cut. Bloom power was lighter at 66g uncut. Didn't measure it uncut but the equivalent ratio would make it 47g. As light as it gets for a tacky Chinese max rubber in my experience.
  8. Rxton 5 Pro

It's listed that way, but my measurements of the two with my Shore O durometer came out to the same hardness (around 51d). Might be just variance and I got a harder sheet of pink than normal. My bet would be on them being the same though.
  9. Why do I need to remove old glue from the rubber's sponge?

An uneven playing surface is an unpredictable and inconsistent playing surface. With fresh uncured glue, you can clamp or stack some books on the rubber/blade while drying and it'll slowly but surely even out. With old glue, you're going to get some unevenness after you've pulled the rubber...
  10. Aliexpress Singles Day Sale 2023

@TensorBackhand I just tested out the Stuor Harimoto ZLC just now for a couple hours. Rubbers are LAC and Moon 12 Blue. Compared to Sanwei Fextra and Yinhe U2. I'll probably give it a few more sessions to form an opinion on it, but some things jumped out right away. First thing is that the...
  11. Aliexpress Singles Day Sale 2023

I was thinking the same but figured you'd be the right guy to ask. Thanks a lot!
  12. Rxton 5 Pro

It's also saying that the Rxton 3 shares the same topsheet as Rxton 3 Pink/Blue and, by all reports, they are completely different topsheets with Rxton 3 Pink/Blue being harder.
  13. Aliexpress Singles Day Sale 2023

How would you compare the Stuor Harimoto ZLC vs the Sanwei 75 Inner in terms of speed, hold, and flex? I'm going to be testing one of the two compared to my Fextra using same rubbers (LAC and Moon 12 Blue) but wondering which to try first. I'd prefer to start with the one with more dwell and flex.
  14. Stiga Infinity VPS upgrade path

It should be worth noting that revspin is not a reliable way to compare blades. The ratings for speed, flex, hardness etc. are reliant on user expectations. The top review for the Cybershape carbon, for example, is going from a Primorac Carbon (extremely stiff) so the Cybershape is going to feel...
  15. Need advice how to improve game

There's a lot to work on but one thing you can do to start with is learning to toss the ball up high and controlled enough. Some of those serve tosses look illegal. Luckily, you can practice this without a table at home.
  16. My Personal Guide to Rubbers on Aliexpress

Yeah, I've gotten different thicknesses of Mercury 2. Quality control isn't great but expected for a $5 rubber. From my experience, anything around 60 grams is 2.0 or under thickness, and above 65 grams is a proper max thickness.
  17. WTT Finals Women Nagoya 2023

So are you saying that they only pull these new serve and spin tactics when in tight games and matches (or behind, even) and that's why they seem to get out spots and change momentum? If that's the case, the follow up question would then is: why not just do that the whole match and dominate...
  18. WTT Finals Women Nagoya 2023

If that's the case, what would your explanation be for all CNT opponents seemingly deciding on their own to 'step it down' in crucial moments? Why change anything if it was working perfectly fine before the time out or costume change of the CNT player? Honestly, if the CNT did find some sort of...
  19. WTT Finals Women Nagoya 2023

I don't think that explains all of it. Clearly the CNT players are consistent, but I'm talking about how they are able to reverse the momentum of their opponent during key moments and inflection points. Technique is a part of it, but the follow up question to your answer is to ask how and why...
  20. WTT Finals Women Nagoya 2023

Overall good performance by the Japanese team despite the W/L results going pretty much as expected. Hayata didn't look like she was in form at all to threaten CM based on her ITTF Mixed Team performances, but she was looking like she had a real chance to win until CM found herself again in a...
