  1. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

There are talking points, we can discuss the matches and the players, no need to re-use Tieba talking points here. The main issue is that the matches are not on Youtube, if they were, everyone would get good visibility into them.
  2. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

Ranfeur is doing reasonably well, but there are two risky plays - one is the Ionescu serve to the short forehand. The second is the Ionescu push of the serve into the short forehand. The amount of spin on both plays has caused Ranfeur problems.
  3. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

Ionescu has won at least 3 points outright with serve to short forehand. Ranfeur needs to wakeup lol.
  4. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

Relax, the interview was in 2013.
  5. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

Haha.... why you bring Japan into Euros lol... let them stay where they are.... Surprised Sweden is playing Ranfeur. Maybe Falck doesnt like the Ionescu matchup. That said Chirita has given Romania paths to victory. A lot will depend on wherher Ovidlu can beat Ranfeur. EDIT: Seems Ranfeur...
  6. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

Chirita - truly a superstar in the making. Europe is entering a new golden age.
  7. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

Kallberg refuses to succumb to Ionescu's Lazarus effect and comes back from 0-4 to win 11-7 in the 4th game. Well done.
  8. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

Kallberg struggling to finish off Eduardo "Lazarus" Ionescu. If you wonder where the name Lazarus comes from, ask Jha and Aruna, Kallberg is in trouble, I wish him the best.
  9. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

In any case, if Germany's level has truly dropped, that is good news for France, since I think based on the current teams, Germany is a worse matchup for France than Sweden. France should still be the favorites for this in the absence of Truls.
  10. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

Pucar has beaten Dima in just about every big match they have played with each other and is a strong player, has troubled many good players, variations in his level are hard to explain but he is especially strong against anyone who dominates with backhand. Because he doesn't play in France or...
  11. Butterfly Zyre 03

Well, the main thing is that I can play with other rubbers. I can't play with Zyre with the same confidencethat i can with any of the Dignics rubbers. I kind of understand why, and I know my technique is not perfect, but I have strong coaches and none of my coaches have ever told me I do not...
  12. Butterfly Zyre 03

That's entirely fair, do you have video of your play so I can see who is providing the expert commentary and how they play?
  13. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

Dima is always recovering from something, and regardless, these are Germany's top 3 players at the moment.
  14. Butterfly Zyre 03

In principle i agree. In practice, I let the performance level and its limitations speak for itself. What do you think my USATT/TTR is?
  15. 2025 European Team Table Tennis Championships (October 12 to 19, 2025)

    Wowl, Kozul beat Geraldo. Interesting....
  16. Butterfly Zyre 03

I put it on a Viscaria SALC then a Hugo HAL. I now will have it on a Hadraw VK. The below should give you an example of how I play. The Zyre03 requires precise movement. My movement is much less precise than the rubber facilitates. Here i use Viscaria SAlC with Dignics 80.
  17. Butterfly Zyre 03

I live somewhere where many people have D09c on their backhands. I used to have it on my backhand as well and I can play with it there (heck, I have used hard Big Dipper, H3 and TG3 Skyline on my backhand) and may go back to it. It's just work to get the ball moving. But its far from some...
  18. Zyre 03 Rubber Review with Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

To be fair, some of it I think may get better if I use the rubber enough that the sponge becomes a bit softer - that is what I think is missing, it currently plays like glass for me. That's why I want to persist for a couple more weeks before getting to a final final verdict. But my initial...
  19. Zyre 03 Rubber Review with Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

Hmmm... the people I know who hate D09c don't like it because it is like Hurricane (sticky) or because it is not Hurricane (bouncy with high arc). Few of them outright say they can't play with it. I don't remember a rubber quite like Z03 which was promoted as the best thing since sliced...
  20. Zyre 03 Rubber Review with Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

Fan Zhendong is rumored to have called Zyre shit so I know I am not alone. And even Butterfly admitted there was a divide between players that originally tested the design on whether it was a good for them or not. I just wish I could understand what the other side was doing so I could expand...
