  1. What serve should I use?

I usually open up BH, then I can either slam it with a forehand or backhand but slightly less consistent with the BH. If my opponent loops, I have a good block. I should probably be better at counters. I'm not very good at them.

  4. To lob or not to lob?

My opinion is: If you are pushed back for a good reason (not because you randomly drifted), then lobbing is really effective and sometimes better than counter looping.
  5. What serve should I use?

Yes, this is definitely a winning strategy. I will mix this in with a reverse pendulum in order to have a backhand dominant serve. Let me try this strategy and I will see if it works in about 2 hours.
  6. What serve should I use?

I think I will be practicing a backhand serve with heavy underspin, allowing me to engage my bh loop. I will also continue to use my pendulum but add more side spin to attack the 3rd ball with bh. I will mix in long fast down the line serves bc I love them. Thanks for the advice!
  7. The best way to play the drop shot off lobs - any experts for ultimate guide?

1:Take it fast off the bounce to keep it low 2:Pull back the racket in a slicing motion 3: Enjoy as your opponent's jaw drops to the floor, preventing him from moving forward. Grin as your shot turns around on the table, slowly crawling backwards, into the net. Yes, this is by far my...
  8. What is your killing / signature shot ?

I got 2: My taxi down the line serve, and my backhand loop kill from anywhere on the table (or 8 feet away).
  9. Feedback on my League games

I have an idea for a solution to take out a couple of these problems quickly. Idea: Take the ball faster off of the bounce. Learn how to counter well. You can study Koki Niwa's game as he does this well. This strategy fixes... - Power bc taking a ball faster gives you more speed without...
  10. At what skill level would a hard (48-50 deg and up) FH rubber improve the game?

But here you can see, he uses soft rubbers bc he has a SUPER fast and stiff carbon blade. Schlager carbon is a very fast blade OFF+!
  11. At what skill level would a hard (48-50 deg and up) FH rubber improve the game?

i would say that it depends on the blade. softer and more flexy blade, harder rubber. softer rubber, harder and stiffer blade. the czechs most likely have stiffer carbon blades.
  12. What serve should I use?

Thnx for the responses. I will be practicing!
  13. What serve should I use?

I play close/mid distance. I have a strong control close to the table and good flicks (but not consistent enough to be called 'good'). I have a super powerful backhand open up and a decent forehand spin when the opponent pushes long. I have a strong block as well. I tend to suffer in long...

I would say that this blade has a lot of AURA.
  15. Help with technique and match analysis

Yes, I am around 1900 US rating system. You are prob higher. My attack works around my level but also, I will say, surprises lots of high level players, giving me the advantage in the first set.
  16. Help with technique and match analysis

Thats my strat. I open up with loads of spin and power deep. Then I hit a counter to the other side. The second can either be fast and flat, or slow and wide angled. Or fast and wide angled if you are really lucky. Loads of times, they don't even get the first loop back if it's well placed.
  17. Help with technique and match analysis

Many of your lost points can be fixed by opening up with aggression earlier, then finishing with placement. You have strong loops and control. They are just in the wrong order.

Which rubbers go well with it? I'm getting this blade.
  19. How to play against flat hitter?

just remember that playing against a hitter is not about your spin quality. It becomes about speed and placement.
