  1. How to play against flat hitter?

Probably not good advice but I enjoy lobbing against flat hitters. I feel like the often lose control due to bad footwark when you can fish well. This only works with high topspin and sidespin lobs.
  2. Which top player(s) inspired you to play?

I stay close to the table/mid distance but never go super far. I enjoy chop blocks when I can and I typically dropshot ~5 times per game. I think its the most fun shot. I love ripping loops off of backspin and then controlling the rest of the rally (if it continues) through blocks and counters.

Are you a blocker? Although this is usually under one catagory, I notice two types of blockers. 1. The ones who punchblock and hit agressively but less aggressively than a hitter. 2. the ones that deaden the ball and force "uncomfortable" rallies. I think you might be a #2. That isn't to say...
  7. What’s Better: Playing Hard or Playing Smart?

My entire struggle when I play TT is to balance this. I believe that most players focus too much on power and consistency with power. Few of the players I know focus of placement and spin. I used to play closer to the table Harimoto sorta style but flatter. I tried to drop all the time and...
