Hari-boy. Does what he does best, beat a close to the table Asian player. Revenge is sweet I guess...
  2. Why do Zhang Jikes Movements Look so clean?

Depends in what you modeled, Zhang Jike uses his upper arm out of sync with the body more than most modern forehands. With spin on the celiuloid ball, it was easier to get away with that, but with the plastic ball power requirements, it just placed much more pressure on technique.

Deadly third ball attacks are really a function of serve and serve return and how they set up the 3rd and 4th ball. No one has deadly third ball attacks against good returns. That said, the main thing you pointed out is that the experience and ability gap between you and DerEchte fueled...

  11. Backhand topspin tutorials are useless

So I was a blocker for most of my TT "career" in the early days, and even my best stroke (backhand topspin) was played largely with the arm. Most of the change in the physicality of my technique came when I learned to block with technique, no matter how inadequately. I developed an arm...

Absolutely zero problem doing this, and unless you are at a pretty strong, we are not at the level where our strokes should be *that* sensitive to minor changes in equipment age based on storage and the kinds of quality I have seen from ESN and DHS in recent times. I know many players who stock...

If Jorgic isn't jet-lagged, Alexis has gone up a level for sure.

Youtube with VPN pointed at Canada. It might be on ESPN3 in the US, but the only reason I bought VPN was to watch WTT matches so I am already paying subscription fee in my head given their (WTT's) complete inability to think about their fans when making these stupid decisions around licensing...
