Germany clearly is training replacements, we have Fransizka, Duda, and note that most Europeans peak in late 20s. Fransizka mostly has injury problems but if he can stay healthy he has top 10 talent and power. I am sure there are others as well, Prause is a serious thinker.

Ishikawa beat Yang in 2014 as well. Ishikawa is good vs defence, if she can beat Han Ying, she can beat Wu Yang. The loss to the PRK defender was the heart breaker of her career.

  7. German Open 2017

One of the most significant losses of Yan An's career was to Dima at a World Cup in 2013 or so. So I wasn't expecting much here Yan An couldn't handle the pressure and the crowd. He also couldn't get Dima into any forehand to forehand rallies which is saying a lot. IT's unfortunate the way...

  17. German Open 2017

Monteiro beat Ovtcharov. Aruna took Dima to 7 games. If Majoros plays like he has so far, he has chance.
  18. German Open 2017

When someone ranked 220 in the world beats Aruna, you know it is a depressing day for me, especially when I couldn't see the match... Then I find out he is only 20 years old and had beaten some good players (Groth) before, and he goes on to beat Monteiro in impressive style (I love his close to...
