Hayata looks like she's playing with a rapidly progressing wrist injury... Not good.
  6. Why are rubbers getting harder with ABS balls?

Because all things being equal, it takes more effort to hit the new ball with the same speed as the old ball when using same rubber. Think about what is needed to activate the "catapult" of the softer rubber too.
  7. Why are rubbers getting harder with ABS balls?

To make up for the loss of speed resulting from the transition to 40+ balls.

  17. Xiom J&H C57. 5

Tried it once a couple of years ago on someone's zjk alc back when I played with K2 and didn't like it particularly. Not tacky, etc. IMO, Xiom c-series use a different technology for the top sheet, it seems at least a bit tacky.
  18. Zhang Jike Shows You How to Boost and Glue Your Racket

I don't. Altitude means distance above sea level.
  19. Zhang Jike Shows You How to Boost and Glue Your Racket

Higher altitude -> more rarefied air-> faster/spinnier ball Hotter/dryer air -> same Humid/cold air -> slower/less spinny ball Random air circulation -> unpredictable ball Basic stuff. Imo, halls with higher ceilings invariably tend to be large halls either with lots of people or non-trivial...
  20. Zhang Jike Shows You How to Boost and Glue Your Racket

I've got to say that his idea that halls with higher ceilings result in "higher air pressure making it harder to play" is utter bollocks. P.S.: Wouldn't surprise me if he said something completely different and it was mistranslated.
