you could try short pips first. to learn it's relative. gustaf ericson plays far from table with ox long pimples and a rather fast stiga clipper blade. also gambler brand doesn't seem to be popular/available outside USA. you could start with short pimples which is like the middle of the road...

  5. in WTT, do women earn same as men? if so.... is it fair?

in the main sports like soccer and basketball the differences between what men and women earn is astronomical. looking at the details of the latest WTT events I don't see a part where they specify how much men and women earn...

  9. How does Pro player earn money?

most tt clubs in europe are not profitable entities. and they need to sustain expensive halls, playing equipment, coaches, etc. how do they make it? the government gives them the halls and money to run the club. a part of this money goes to the paid players (if there are any) and to the coaches...
  10. Sabine Winter switches to antispin

For me what separates her is she is actually an athletic person who can make a strong pivot from her bh and if they block parallel she can actually reach that parallel block and punish with another succesive fh loop. the typical female table tennis player doesn't have much power and mainly...
  11. Sabine Winter switches to antispin

I don't believe it was the anti style. I believe the issue was that overall amelie's performance was not good enough to be in the german national team. She had strong competition back then like Sabine Winter, Petrissa Solja who at some point climbed to ittf ranking #13 and others.
  12. Sabine Winter switches to antispin

is it the same style? winter uses the anti very little and is eager to start throwing fh bombs. amelie solja's game is like 80% bh pushes and a couple of fh kills with sp. I think sabine's inspirations are more recent players like luka mladenovic and manika batra. maybe even carlos muhlbach who...

"I take the doctor's medicine then I give out the doctor's medicine......only took me 12 years to realize!!!!" - Sabine Winter.
  14. Sabine Winter switches to antispin

wang yidi made a ton of mistakes looping against the antispin block. if the CNT really focus on beating this type of opponent it might be game over for the insane doctor I'm afraid.... still the finalist takes home the sum of 20.000 USD.... not bad at all
  15. Sabine Winter switches to antispin

here's another guy who plays a similar style. you can see he barely misses a block.... the anti rubber is so slow it's practically impossible to miss the table. I kinda wanted to try this style.... but it's too boring honestly. you just pass the ball and wait for the opponent to make a...

I don't post videos and I don't play anti. Just tried it a few times. If you want to see an amateur blocking with anti you can look Andrea aschi videos.
