  1. How to improve muscular endurance on backhand drives and topspins?

Your regular workout routine can have an impact on your table tennis practices depending on if you go up in weight, try out a different machine, or even do an exercise for the first time. In terms on your table tennis routine, I think you should try drinking Gatorade or Powerade to help give...
  2. Felix Lebrun Hyper Carbon

I recommend reading this Felix Lebrun Hyper Carbon post so you can a better idea of how the blade plays. I used it a few times with Hybrid K3 Pro and Hybrid K3 Fx (both hybrid rubbers) and the blade is definitely stiff, but those rubbers didn't feel good for me, so I switched the K3 Pro for...

Honestly I agree with you. When I used Skyline 2 Non-Neo Boosted a few months ago, I liked it much more than Hurricane 3, definitely because of the low throw and tackiness with the sheet I got. Then I saw your post and I ordered myself Skyline 2 Blue Sponge again 😂 1st time I used Blue Sponge, I...
  4. Natural progression from accoustic

You can try out DHS Hurricane Long 5, pretty cheap on PROTT compared to other websites, if you're thinking of following Ma Long's blade setup. https://prott.vip/Product-Details.aspx?productcode=LONG5
  5. Sold

Go to TableTennis11 and you get a discount when you buy the blade since it's over a certain amount of money. https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/xiom-hugo-tmxi-pro

Got a question: What makes you use TG2 Blue Sponge over H3N Blue Sponge?
  7. Whats the best and worst combos you’ve tried equipmentwise

I would say Zyre-03 is a very good rubber, but I don't think it's worth $120 USD. I remember one of your posts you showed you got it from 70ish USD, which that makes the rubber worth that price! I used it a few times and I was very surprised that I was able to adjust to it coming from Hurricane...

I woke up early and I saw you mentioned me and then I realized I may have confused myself @mihalichtheone 😂 The link I have is for the Intensity Xu Xin, but I somehow brought up the Gold and Blue Lense, maybe because I saw one of your posts earlier with your Stiga Dynasty Carbon setups 😂
  9. NCTTA rating to USATT rating

Hello all! I have a team tournament coming up in May and one of my teammates has a NCTTA rating of ~1500 but a USATT rating of 0 since this will be his first time doing a USATT tournament. Is there any way we can have that 0 go to the ~1500 since that's his rating? We get put in a group based...

Of course! I'm not sure if the blue and gold lens makes a difference playwise, but you get good packaging from what I've seen people selling it on eBay. You could be a DHS N301 CPen blade. @BlotOnPaper has a very good detailed review on it and it's basically what I experienced. RPB is a monster...
  11. Whats the best and worst combos you’ve tried equipmentwise

Worst: Stiga Cybershape Wood VICTAS Triple Double Extra Donic Blue Grip J3 Made it EXTREMELY head heavy for penhold Best: DHS N301 CPen DHS H3N BS 42 DHS H3N 37 Might consider going back to it since I sold the N301 when I was using short pips 🙂
  12. Post your latest EJ purchase

You can get the blade for $150 USD on PROTT, but I'm not sure if they're sold cheaper or more expensive in other places. https://prott.vip/Product-Details.aspx?productcode=IntensityNct

I had tried TG2 Provincial Blue Sponge a few months ago and I must've not boosted it enough since felt really dead so I had to twiddle to use Hurricane 8-20 as my forehand 😂
  14. Wondering about heavy backside rubbers - Which are there?

It plays more like a Chinese rubber so it's not bouncy like Tenergy series. If you really wanted head heavy, you could consider getting into the Stiga Cybershape since it's got more rubber because of the head shape. Besides that, Chinese or Hybrid rubbers will be your best bet in making your...
  15. Wondering about heavy backside rubbers - Which are there?

I had 1, MAYBE 2 sheets that were close to that, but I had several that were 55+ grams and I had to rip off TDE and ask the club coordinator for 09c the day or two before a major tournament because that was a HUGE difference in weight 😭
  16. Wondering about heavy backside rubbers - Which are there?

Zyre-03 standard thickness is 2.7 and 2.5, but the topsheet is very thin so when I had used it, it just seemed like 2.1 or 2.2 with regular rubbers. But if you want head heavy, get Victas Triple Double Extra. I've had 1 or 2 sheets that weighed 60 grams cut (give or take I added booster 🙂)
  17. Post your latest EJ purchase

When I used it on my N301, it was shooting off the blade and the process hardness I used never did that. I boosted it 4 times I believe, but that's good amounts with that hardness? Unweighted with protector on is 73 grams with no booster added 🙂 It's 40 USD so it's a very good price and I don't...

DHS HL5 Golden CPen, DHS H3N Provincial Blue Sponge 42°, BTY Dignics 09c 😎The 42° from PROTT is surprisingly bouncy when I used it a few months ago and it weighed much less than my 41° I bought from PROTT
  19. Der Materialspezialist Spinfire or Butterfly Impartial XS

I ended up going back to inverted 😂 I realized that I like playing farther from the table so I wouldn't be able to use short pips to its best potential
  20. Big Upset with W968 Golden Grand Slam Version

Unfortunately I've had this issue with DHS blades, but not to this extent 😮 Lacquering definitely helps, but maybe for that blade, you need to peel off rubbers very very slowly to it doesn't happen again 😢
