Exactly. Any "goes well with this and doesn´t go well with that" is highly individual anyway and may not be the same for you. I would happily sell you a like new Inspira Hybrid Carbon if you think you need a new blade, but it really wouldn´t make much sense ;)

I´ve had a chance to play with the Chintac rubbers. As I expected, the catapult effect was low, the sponges are hard, you need to put in some effort to make things happen. If you do, the speed is surprisingly high - but maybe I don´t know enough about Chinese rubbers and that is always the case...

Btw andro puts the Vertic among the classic rubbers in their catalogue, no Tensor effect or comparable technology (made in China).

Can´t quite recall my impressions of the Rakza Z, but Chintac rubbers are definetely more sticky than the andro hybrids like C-Rasanter or HY-Q, more than NUZN anyway.

Quite a bit more, and the final conclusions don´t vary from what I wrote in the first post. As would be expected, the durability is less exceptional than that of NUZN, since HY-Q is more sticky. Personally, I llike NUZN 50 more, because it gives me a unique "close to normal Tensor" feeling...

Quite probably all the classic rubbers. Should a Coppa or Mark V still be 40 Euro list price after being on the market for so long? They have their audience and that´s fair enough, but development and marketing should no longer be part of the price.

But we agree here, I do want this sport to evolve, and not new rules introduced to correct how it has evolved. It´s faster and more athletic, that´s progress for me, and it comes with a more serious approach on higher levels and better material. On low levels, it doesn´t really look different at...

Hardbat and click ball. Slower and pretty much devoid of spin. Closer to what so many people play in gardens, garages and offices. And: Nobody´s watching.

But does the quantity of those justify doctoring with the sport? Casual watchers understand garden level table tennis. As soon as spin is playing a role they´re lost - like some of the lower league players, too ;) Even many table tennis players aren´t really interested in seeing other people...

This I doubt very much. She´s been generating "that" forehand power with lesser rubbers over the years, out of the box. But she might of course get selected versions.

There was some work done on 48 and 45 for sure to make them playable for lower levels and also more affordable.

I think it´s a matter of positioning and target group. Rasanter still is the top "non-hybrid" product line and R45 is the soft version that makes the power of this series (especially the Energy Cell sponge versions) more controllable, while this new one is aimed at "ambitious allround players"...
