  1. Your set-up when you were a 1300 level player?

Joola Kool with Stiga Neo tacky both sides.
  2. Medium Pips. I need recommendations

If 563 is too soft for you, I reckon everything else will be too. The Chinese sponges (388c-1 normal version, 563 pro 38 version) are amongst the hardest that exist for med pips. I'm going to save you the hundreds of dollars and tell you you're on a wild goose chase.
  3. white butterfly shoes (Pro's wear) not available for the public?

He definitely worn these in red at the world cup groups yesterday :)
  4. LF Butterfly SK7 Classic

    Found it! https://www.tenryu.com.my/store/Butterfly-SK7+Classic/q?m=prod&prod_id=1778&in=23
  5. Which lengt of pimpels do you reccomend me?

This is a bit too vague, all pimple lengths can be played close to the table. You should ask yourself what you want the pimples to do. Remember, the more the pimple does against spin, the less you can actively do against no spin.
  6. How to give crazy topspin?

Assuming you already have the stroke, the tip would be staying relaxed.
  7. First Short Pips FH suggestion

Nope, even the same spin SP has a different arc than inverted. Something many inverted players change a lot without thinking is depth of contact, whereas SP can't actually lift heavy backspin with topsheet alone (thin contact) and requires either a solid contact or a roll stroke. Disruptive...
  8. First Short Pips FH suggestion

I think you should start with the spinpips, or now called Victas D1. It spins plenty and gives a great linear feel that you'd need to start with. 802-40 mentioned earlier is also a good option, but it's very sponge dependent. And the rest: spinfire, vo102, Rakza PO are all too bouncy to...
  9. Post your latest EJ purchase

Trying some inner ALC, some 7 plys, and of course a Vis
  10. Clipper like type of blade?

If you've used Sanweo before, then the Fextra is a clear choice. Or the Yinhe Uranus 2, though I think they have series upon series for what you're looking for.
  11. Yinhe Moon 12 Green

I fear Igor may have a conniption if they found out how many pips players glue their own sponge to topsheet
  12. Victas rubbers? Best fh, bh rubbers?

I'll throw a spanner in the works, V20de FH and BH 😁 Though I agree that V15sticky is softer than D09c, however the speed, the trajectory, the depth of contact is all different, so I'm not sure you'll find it as a direct substitute.
  13. Victas VO > 101

Yep, my list is similar too: Impartial XS Booster JP Firestorm green Sonic AR Moristo SP AX These are all similar to VO102. VO101 and VO103 are completely different.
  14. ITTF/WTT problems reported from players

Playing devil's advocate here (and not just because he's one of my countrymen)...if Heming's points are valid, which by many accounts seem to be...are we really resorting to ad hominem arguments to deny his points of view that currently we aren't paying our sport's athletes enough to justify a...
  15. Jpen with sp

    This one:
  16. Andro Blowfish+ vs TSP Spectol Blue

It sounds like you're already used to a quick setup without much arc, then I think either rubber will do you just fine. If you want to retain that linear feel of a stiff sponge, then go for the blue. Though it's definitely hard to find these days (discontinued for a few years now). Actually...
  17. Andro Blowfish+ vs TSP Spectol Blue

How much experience do you have with playing with short pips? Also, what level of opponents do you play mostly against? Those would be the deciding factors if I had to choose.
  18. Andro Blowfish+ vs TSP Spectol Blue

Blowfish+ in terms of raw speed.
  19. Rubber Recommendation For Inner Carbon Blades

Agreed. Inner carbon doesn't automatically mean they have the same rebound speed, torsional and vibrational modes. Also, the top ply makes a crazy difference. If you want a guide (being a bit more helpful here now), have a look at the awesome measurements done at ttgearlab. There you can make...
