  1. Which 7ply wood blade after Clipper?

Yea. Ur right. Swat power and koki niwa are allegedly the same. Those feel great, I think they're around 6.4mm thick https://ttgearlab.com/2023/10/25/victas-swat-power-photos-information/
  2. Which 7ply wood blade after Clipper?

Came here to say koki niwa wood, but i guess the swat is the same blade. He said he has a small hand so he would like the handle of the victas blades better than the Tibhar Szoks
  3. I feel that Dignics 05 is extremely overrated. Is it just me?

I love d80 on bh. Flicks are fast and nasty. It's. It's not as bouncy as t-05 with a grippier top sheet. It's good on serves and is pretty light. Its an overlooked rubber, cuz not many people liked t-80, so it's sort of type cast, I think. Only you will know what you like, but, in my mind, it's...
  4. i dont think chinese rubbers do most people any favours

I agree w/ OP, I see lots of people with slow footwork forcing themselves to use hard chinese rubbers, when they would probably play better overall with euro rubbers.
  5. ❓What Is Your Setup, and WHY?

More people play d80 on bh
  6. Felix Lebrun lost 14 direct points on serve when faced Wang Chuqin

It's like boosting, just serve illegally right back if they don't want to call it. Make that part of your game
  7. Gewo In Force S HAC Impressions

Gewo blades don't seem too be that popular around here. I was always curious about the zlc in force, myself
  8. Sanding wings

IMO it's best not to sand until later after you've tested the blade a while, cuz it seems easier to sell an unsanded one, esp if u go to town on it. Had to use tape a few times tho lol
  9. Sanding wings

Do you leave them more or less stock or do you go crazy? Who here plays with almost no wings?

  11. FZD switches from alc to salc

Its a fake out, it's really just his old Stiga w/ a butterfly handle on it
  12. Tibhar Paul Drinkhall Powerspin Carbon

Good question, you don't hear about this blade too much, but people used to play it anyway. I'm sure someone may come across this thread who hit with one. Most people aren't going to bother writing a full scale review for every blade they own.
  13. Switching between inner and outer carbon depending on season/humidity

This is an interesting thread. I was in a (basically) jungle environment living and working for a year and it mushed out a blade fairly fast and i did switch to an outer carbon. We were playing in a place with like large open windows and rain blowing in even. Lot of slipping rubber, but still fun.
  14. Zhang Jike says inner carbon blades degrade faster than outer carbon blades. Why is that?

DIdnt ZJ play with the same old Viscaria for like 7 years? If he can make it last that long, regular dudes with jobs n kids pretty much will never wear a blade out, so maybe hes right.
  15. Zhang Jike says inner carbon blades degrade faster than outer carbon blades. Why is that?

Has anyone IRL felt that their outer carbon blades degrades faster than their inners? I'm not sensitive enough to tell. I don't trust Zhang Jike, while, unquestionably, an amazing player, he's sketchy. In addition, he's selling outer carbon blades atm
