The codes on player issue blades don't have anything to do with official blade code, the tags on the box aren't even the same. For example player blade code 968-6 is a version with thicker core (ma long allegedly used or uses this version) but u can still see an official 968;blade with this number.

I really liked G1 too. It's great in the short game for a tensor, but still has plenty of power. They seemed to get the tensor sweet spot just right. It's super popular in Japan. I feel like it's a rubber everyone should try once.
