  1. Harimoto ALC vs Freitas ALC

Top search result on Google cannot be wrong! 🤣🤣🤣
  2. What's the one thing you wish you new when you first started playing table tennis?

Don't buy the most expensive bat from Killerspin :-)
  3. Harimoto ALC vs Freitas ALC

Most likely because Harimoto is thicker and heavier (94g v 90g). Even Butterfly rate Harimoto as the faster blade.
  4. Harimoto ALC vs Freitas ALC

TTGear Lab has done a detailed comparison of Harimoto ALC vs Innerforce Layer ALC (How different is Harimoto ALC from InnerForce Layer ALC? – Comparison by Lab Test) and of Freitas ALC vs Tibhar VS Unlimited (Tibhar VS Unlimited vs. Butterfly Freitas ALC – Comparison by Lab Test). My...
  5. New Equipment 2021

Nice looking blade. What's the thickness - can you measure it?
  6. Video Footage Safe Thread

Don't worry about. You're starting your TT jouney at the right age, with a coach, and probably at one of the best places on earth to do so. Sky is the limit, so go for it. Who knows, maybe a few years down the line you'll be in one of those WTT videos!

Good times before Covid at the Hereford tournament in Oct 2019. Thank you MOG for running the best tournament in England! I'm in red shirt. Merry Xmas everyone!
  8. YOU WON’T BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED | TableTennisDaily Team | TTDSL 2021 Ep 4

Pretty good weight transfer when making shots :-)
  9. Hard vs Soft rubbers

Never played with Rozena but this sounds a touch controversial after a quick qoogle search on mytt/ttd/ooak.
  10. Hard vs Soft rubbers

Yeah, once the factory booster is gone, MX-P certainly feels deader. Still roughly the same hardness though.
  11. Hard vs Soft rubbers

Yes, MX-P does feel a bit harder than T05 but they are still within the same hardness class. T05 FX/FX-P/etc feel much softer, the difference is quite pronounced, IMO. Agreed. I use Tibhar Hybrid K2 on FH and T05/MX-P feels too soft in comparison.
  12. Hard vs Soft rubbers

Strictly speaking, T05 is not a "soft" rubber (unlike say T05-FX or R42), it's a medium-hard rubber really, in the same league as MX-P or R48.
  13. STIGA Cybershape Blade Review | With Truls Moregard

Just glance through the history of his posts on this forum - he is 100% associated with Stiga. Just imagine having to post stuff like this on a public forum in the hope your boss will see this and notice ...
  14. Cure for the EJ

I'll just quote an EJ friend of mine: "No you are just being silly!" 🤣🤣🤣
  15. Odd serving by the Ukranian

So the official rules say: From the start of service until it is struck, the ball shall be above the level of the playing surface and behind the server's end line, and it shall not be hidden from the receiver by the server or his or her doubles partner or by anything they wear or carry. IMO...
  16. Odd serving by the Ukranian

I though one has to be behind the table end line when serving - not the side line. Is it actually a legal serve?
  17. Yasaka Falck Carbon or Donic Crest AR+

How about a resolution for the New Year - keep using MLC for a full year till at least August 2022 ? 🤣
  18. Fastarc G1 vs. Rakza X vs. V-15 Extra vs. Evo MX-S

I can highly recommend Victas Ventus Extra - the rebranded TSP Super Ventus - especially for bh. Played with G1 in the past and Super Ventus/Ventus Extra feels like an improvement to me.
  19. WTT Cup Finals 2021

Hugo's inability to effectively FH flip short balls on his FH is a huge weakness for a player at that level. IMO, that explains at least some of it.
  20. Stiga carbonado 90

You're a diehard EJ who attributes far too much importance to equipment which is why you're always ogling other people's equipment and which is why you'll never be satisfied with whatever current setup you've got at any moment in time, that's why.
