  1. Joola Nature

SWAT Power is basically a Clipper. Nothing like the regular Swat.
  2. WTT Macao "Innovations"

IMO, the reason for sudden death points is to increase pressure (CNT does this all the time in their trials) and also to make the length of matches more predicable and thus more suitable for TV broadcasting.
  3. Wildish errors by players -- so vexing, so abundant.

And play somewhat further away from the table in order to create the arc. I like to spin the ball more than flat hit (and have a tendency to give up the table too soon) so, yeah, that would suit me fine :-)
  4. Wildish errors by players -- so vexing, so abundant.

    Ditto for slightly higher net.
  5. When you finally beat the player you never beat!!

Wow, thank you for the kind words!
  6. When you finally beat the player you never beat!!

Come on, you guys are taking this so seriously ... MOG pulled off a very nice loop (just listen to the contact sound!!!) and it deserved not just a fist pump but a cho as well, notwithstanding the edge. And he did apologize.
  7. Statistical analysis of an Equipment Junkies results!!

Perhaps your FH is your primary point winner, not BH pips. Here is how you can verify that "scientifically": You've got the videos for these matches, don't you? Try making a table of points won/lost recording opponents shot/your reaction shot/blade + rubber side used to return. This will...
  8. When you finally beat the player you never beat!!

Such a nice edge off a loop full of sidespin and your only reaction is a fist pump :-) Harimoto would not approve! :-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56RMfMsP26c&feature=youtu.be&t=820
  9. Advice on BH technique?

BH looking really good! P.S.: Lol, I've played every player who appears in this video. Cannot wait to come back to the best TT venue in England!
  10. Playing against defensive short players

If they are truly defensive or passive players who do not initiate the attack first, might be worth pushing deep and low with a lot of underspin. This would force the return push to be long as well - and voila - here is your chance to loop. Deep fast serves should also have the same effect.
  11. Stupid question about Tenergy 05!

:-) Don't forget to tell this to the BTY fanboys who insisted for years that no rubber harder than T05 - tensor or tacky - was even remotely playable until T05 Hard's release ...
  12. Which Joola rubber is most similar to Tenergy 05fx

It can do anything in good hands :-) As I recall, it had a more direct feel than T05FX - no doubt due to the harder topsheet (as mentioned by BryanY).
  13. Which Joola rubber is most similar to Tenergy 05fx

Might be worth checking out Joola Rhyzer Pro 45. No mush in sight, felt a touch zippier than T05FX on a someone else's Viscaria.
  14. Yinhe Big Dipper 4

TikTok video or it didn't happen :-)
  15. Rakza Z vs Free chack glue

TBH, after watching Timo Boll's bat preparation video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DODDExcIsEE) I keep wondering if there is any point whatsoever in removing WBG from the rubber before regluing ...
  16. Rakza Z vs Free chack glue

One can also use a hair dryer to heat up the WBG layer and then gently scrape it off. The key is to be patient.
  17. Do you enjoy playing opponents that use tacky rubbers more than tensors?

I'm hoping the above is a joke. If anything, the above posts are proof of the opposite. Claiming that certain shots are attainable with tacky rubbers only or that tacky rubbers have some magical properties is just silly. Do not forget that it is the player who makes the strokes ...
  18. Do you enjoy playing opponents that use tacky rubbers more than tensors?

Lol, tensor rubbers are apparently the new junk rubbers.
