  1. Butterfly wildin

If my memory serves me correct, Tenergy 09C was the rubber that Butterfly gave to their professionals before they developed D09C. Unsure about T05N. These two stamp designs have been on the LARC for a long time: https://mytabletennis.net/forum/butterfly-to-release-new-tacky-rubbers_topic81038.html
  2. Post your latest EJ purchase

I don't think there are any DHS blades that are Butterfly shaped, 506 looks no different
  3. DHS fans unite!

The JSH and Mazunov, and also several T5000 blades like IFT5000/ZJKT5000 were on average much heavier than
  4. Best BH rubber (xiom vega)

I would argue the M version is better for bh than the H version because it is easier to compress the sponge
  5. Rumour new Butterfly flagship rubber

Will it crush the competition like D09C or will it die a horrible death like Aibiss?
  6. Spinlord FH short pimples

I have heard good things about Waran 1 and 2, they've been out for a while. Though I'd recommend either Rakza PO or VO>102 from my own experience, they are fast and spinney and easy to transition to from smooth
  7. Are there low price quality rubbers from major retailers?

Colestt is a relatively small operation but he's got the hookup when it comes to cheap
  8. Your perfect combo if price is no object?

The custom model that Butterfly made for Kong Linghui
  9. New Equipment -- Budding EJ

Sriver was introduced before speed gluing was a thing, and in the era of the 38mm ball
  10. New Equipment -- Budding EJ

Sriver is just quite slow and unreactive. The topsheet has some usable grip but coming from a real attacking setup with carbon and fast rubbers, Sriver will feel more like a piece of basement gear. Rozena is priced similarly to Sriver but it is essentially a "small tenergy" in performance and in...
  11. Hammond Z2

Tried it and didn't like it. Fast and snappy feeling rubber but felt to me as though the topsheet didn't really grip the ball unless I was very aggressive.
  12. How do I get that thick Booster noise?

You want a loud rubber then go get the Desto F3 Bigslam 😉
  13. Wang Chuqin, Lin Shidong, and Xu Xin

DHS has a Hurricane Wang/W968 and Stiga has the Dynasty Xu Xin. LSD is still new but I can imagine that Butterfly might replace the ZJK line with LSD branding
  14. Genuine Primorac or copy?

Other folks more knowledgeable about the codes and tags on Butterfly blades can bring more knowledge but I believe usage of the old uneven kidney style logo was phased out in 2014. Edit- according to this thread...
  15. Genuine Primorac or copy?

This looks legit, its just an older version since it has the first generation silver tag with the previous logo. Newer Primorac Off- have the holographic lens on the backside of the handle and the new symmetrical style logo.
  16. ZJK blades discontinued

I suppose it is kind of convenient that LSD has been seen using Viscaria, since the ZJK blades have the same handle sizing and both have been serving as the medium sized handle option between the smaller Timo Boll series and larger FZD
  17. Small wings

Time for Michael Maze style secret blade modification
  18. Need advice for a allround+ blade with a big handle

I think that once you find a blade you really like, you should try and keep it. Perhaps anatomic handle style or grip tape might be the answer. I think it might also be an option to request a custom handle from a blade craftsman
  19. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Nexxus Superselect and Rasanter R, especially in 45 and 48, are popular green rubbers but they are very fast and reactive rubbers meant for experienced attackers. Hexer Grip (45) is a bit slower and steadier than the equivalent hardness Nexxus and Rasanter rubbers but it is still a bouncy and...
