  1. My Service Problems

Time your entire swing with a quick exhale. As in the swing back and forward takes no more time than breathing out once. Then use your breath to time the ball. This will help you stay relaxed as well as timing the contact better.
  2. Is this a custom Viscaria?

A blind test of these blades would be very funny. Also of diff H3 rubbers. Results similar to red wine, i would bet.
  3. Need advice on equipment selection

No. Only change one thing at a time. You already use h3 on your andro blade and you play very well. You aren't satisfied with bh compared to rakza 7, so buy a sheet of R7 and slap it on your old blade. If later you feel like your h3 is allergic to hinoki, then splash out on a viscaria, and...
  4. "Beginner equipment that also suits the new polyball playing strategies"

Suggest you find a coach for your son and buy whatever equipment the coach suggests.
  5. My Service Problems

Practice. And time the swing with your breath. Stay still until the ball is dropping, then exhale as you swing and contact the ball.
  6. Hardness Race is On! | Rasanter R53 Review

Watching a couple of your reviews with the sound off and the rallies look exactly the same. The blocker never sends every ball off the table because there is so much extra spin or speed. If I didn't know better I'd think changing equipment makes very little difference.
  7. Nittaku Hurricane Pro 3 Turbo Blue

T05fx is a hella good rubber. Don't get mad. Think how much you are saving by not using dignics.
  8. such thing as short pips but in normal smooth?

What's the point of the OP? You want exactly SP results from an inverted. Is that because of the discrimination you face as a pips player? One of the rules addresses that but I don't remember which number.
  9. Rubber suggestions

"I tend to play close to the table, very rarely moving more than 1 meter from the end. I like to play the ball as soon as it has bounced or as it is still rising to it's highest point." This is a perfect two-line description of a short pips player.

  11. Moristo SP Vs Moristo SP AX

Give the normal Moristo SP a chance before you go to long pips. It is so much better than Spectol red or moristo AX.
  12. Moristo SP Vs Moristo SP AX

Re: MOG's post. I 100% agree that AX is more controlled than Spectol Red. A bazooka has more control than Spectol Red. That rubber was so fast I couldn't even look at the ball without it flying off the end.
  13. Moristo SP Vs Moristo SP AX

I am a regular Moristo user for about 18 months and bought a sheet of SP AX based on Patrick's review. BLUF: I took off the AX after two weeks and gave it away. I was overjoyed to go back to plain Moristo. These are quite different rubbers. The pip alignment on AX is horizontal, plain SP is...
  14. Olympics 2020 who will represent who

For the US wouldn't the top WR players be Kanak and Lily? Can anybody really argue with that? Would you want one of them to miss playing singles because of some random event at a trials? Let the second spot go to a trials winner. Sounds reasonable to me.
  15. Any tips on how to stay calm for tournaments?

The flip side of this is to have one or two things you know you are good at, relative to your overall level. Then at crunch time just do them and nothing else. That feeling you had was choking. You are winning, but you feel so much fear of losing that you are compelled to change what you did...
  16. Good tabletennis shoes

Idk about anyone else but I have had more problems from my shoes catching on the floor than from slippage or lack of lateral support. A lot of that is down to poor movement and letting my CoG get outside my knee. But *for me only* rolling an ankle is no big deal. I have good flex from running...
  17. Tenergy 05 hard vs Chinese rubbers

I don't see the appeal of T05 hard. I have only hit a few times with other peep's, so it wasn't on my blade and comments aren't worth much. But T05 is built to spin, and unless you are crazy good 05 hard will make less spin. Of course this is probably also true of H3. If you don't have solid...
  18. ESN rubber price difference

That's why the price went up when they changed from Rasant to Rasanter. Wait until Rasanterest comes next year.
  19. ESN rubber price difference

You pay for the name. Three syllables and a double-digit number costs more than two measly syllables and a single-digit. Plus 8 is not lucky in western countries.
  20. How to deal with deep pushes.

Dude, if you have a coach, eventually he or she will teach you backhand loop against backspin. Don't ask random strangers on the internet, ask your coach.
