  1. Inner Fiber Dilemma.

ZLC Might be an option, since XVT has a cheap clone of the Innerforce ZLC. but of course the cheapest option is for me to just get good.
  2. Sanwei T5000. Someone who has tried it!

swap it around and try it. i used the Mercury2 on my Stiga Offensive Classic and thought i needed an inner carbon blade. slapped on a Yinhe MoonSpeed 53 Asia on the OC after a while and it felt very good. i'm really unimpressed by the Mercury 2 i like Kokutaku 868 better at the same price range.
  3. Inner Fiber Dilemma.

after another session it's exactly this. I just need to fine tune power / racket angle low power and I need a pretty closed angle, the ALC layer needs a pretty open angle. moving to the Sanwei Target Commercial from the Volant Phoenix seems to give me more room to breathe with its longer dwell...
  4. Upgrading from Sanwei V5 pro to DHS 301z or Viscaria - Help me to choose !!!

Can you compare the V5 and Viscaria more? mostly on dwell time. (i tried 729 blue ALC speed is ok but not enough dwell for me) For OP seems like upgrading to Vis + going for a chinese hybrid might be the way to go. you could look into H8-80 or H3-50. if you want something more Euro/Jap style...
  5. Glue quantity in ml per rubber

yea that was what I did to make it stick. i really had to sand it it down though since the previous owner weny ham on the sealer.
  6. Glue quantity in ml per rubber

I use up around 2ml per rubber (1 layer on blade, 2 on rubber) using cheap huesion water based glue. only problem i had was on a heavily sealed blade where the glue won't stick.

my itch to get a 4$ Cpen is growing everyday.
  8. Can I still re-use this blade?

Finishing is not too good, but the playability is quite nice, very crispy and stiff, not my cup of tea though.
  9. Inner Fiber Dilemma.

I'm thinking of grabbing a Sanwei CC for this matter. I "need" a backup anyways. i know it isn't the rubbers since i have the same problem in BH. even when switching the GoldArc to FH. maybe i just have to practice 😂
  10. Inner Fiber Dilemma.

I have a problem with controlling Inner Fiber Blades. it's fine for the most part, low power shots are great, high power shots are nice and zippy, easily wins you the point, the problem is the inbetween where the ALC starts to get "activated" I just loose control of the ball (mostly to the...

had a hit with my Sanwei Target Commercial, it was weird at first but when i got the hang of it, it felt amazing. haven't had a hit like this since before 40+ (took a 9year break and got back last year) this is pretty much a looping rubber, i can't for the life of me make a decent flat hit with...
  12. Best Cheap non DHS blade

I like my Sanwei (HC-1S), built pretty well, two steps ahead of 729(Blue ALC) which felt like someone procrastinated in making it. I've heard mostly good things about Yinhe, Stuor, XVT and Lemuria.
  13. Fan Zhendong: The Last Dance

Gold in the Olympics seems a pretty good way to retire. but i doubt they let him go barring injuries because wang chu qin turned into wang choking.

got a random version of sanwei target for 6$ (got the old commercial version) can't wait to try it out on sunday. the baby blue sponge looks great. (this is probably my cleanest cut yet)
  15. Sweaty Hands :(

Grip Tape FTW. as a person with pretty big hands, this is a blessing. it only adds 2 grams.

Where'd you get the dragon shadow from? can't find it online.
  17. Filipino Thread

wow, Dragon Shadow Spin sounds very promising, Fell in-love with the Vega Asia when I was in Highschool, with the smaller ball back then i had ridiculous BH loops (at least it felt like it) I actually wanted to visit and play in Otis once, since I had something to do in Manila that day, but I...

Current Setup: Blade: Sanwei HC-1S FH: Volant Phoenix 40° (I have an incoming random version of Sanwei Target to try) BH: DHS Goldarc 8 50° Dream setup would be a custom blade (Hinoki top with Inner ALC) with various rubbers (there's quite a few always releasing so it's hard to settle) Pretty...

I stay away I avoid DHS Blades because of the thin handles, I have pretty big hands.
  20. Filipino Thread

i have the same interest but with 7ply. those new(?) all wood blades from Meteor in Lazada looks very tempting. QA
