  1. Feedback on my loops against backspin

Also feel free to fast forward, I didn’t do any edits :) oh and I was a bit nervous because I knew camera was rolling 😂
  2. Feedback on my loops against backspin

So I have noticed that I have issues doing a fh or bh loop/topspin when someone does an underspin. If its topspin and or a flat ball my loops (especially on the forehand) are fine. Here’s a video of me doing forehand / backhand agains “medium” underspin on the robot. Feel free to provide any...

I had to stop myself, but I have a spare paddle now since I got my fancy butterfly one and my brain just randomly wants to research cheap ali express rubbers to try out on the spare paddle for fun. I've been doing a good job resisting though :)
  4. Burned 2k cals playing table tennis yesterday

It was on my non playing hand actually! That is a good point I wonder what the reading would be if its my playing hand.
  5. Burned 2k cals playing table tennis yesterday

This whole thread escalated quickly, was just trying to say that I had a lot of fun and burned a bunch of calories (directionally speaking, I know that the watch was not accurate) 😂 but yes as someone who has been playing sports and weightlifting prettty much since early teenage years I agree...
  6. Burned 2k cals playing table tennis yesterday

I do think though that they are directionally correct and can help people with weight management etc :)
  7. Burned 2k cals playing table tennis yesterday

It does overestimate but I feel like new ones are more accurate. I have an ultra and here’s a good review that does a lot of research/videos about it . Even if its not 2.4k cals I still think it was a ton haha :)
  8. Burned 2k cals playing table tennis yesterday

I’m glad I lm not the only one burning million cals over :)
  9. Burned 2k cals playing table tennis yesterday

Played in local league last night, did ok (5 wins and 5 losses, I need to play more against long pips it was unreal) but I burned 2k+ calories. I noticed tthat I burned a ton last time I practiced but I think this is my record. Crazy stuff :)
  10. Beginner looking to build a solid racket

I feel like that depends on who you ask, but you can generally return most serves, can hit most loops and have a decent footwork. That’s just me though if you ask someone else they might say something different :)

    20+ blades? That's amazing!
  12. Beginner looking to build a solid racket

Pozdrav! :) I've purchased Rozena for both BH and FH yesterday and played for a few hours and it's very nice rubber for where I'm at with my game (intermediate-ish player). Would recommend!

Ooof yeah I can 100% feel it :) But I'll do my best to resist!

After joining a club and trying out a few different blades I ended up upgrading from my colestt pre made buster combo purchase to a butter rozena for both FH and BH and maze advanced blade. Plays really well for where I'm at with my game and I can grow with it for a long time.
  15. Thank you for equipment suggestion

I just wanted to say thank you to folks that recommended all the equipment when I posted a few weeks ago. I bought coels pre made buster combo, its amazing. When compared to my stiga pre made bullet (that costed more btw) its miles better. I am about to join a local club so I can play a bit...
  16. Custom Blade For Someone Returning To Sport

I tried out the blade today. Overall I’m very happy with what I got. Control is nice and it’s fast enough for where I am with my skillset. Would recommend!
  17. Custom Blade For Someone Returning To Sport

I ended up purchasing a blade from coals tt (premade buster combo). We’ll see how it shakes out, but it looks like he has good reputation. It will likely be better then what I have :) Thank you for all suggestions!
  18. Custom Blade For Someone Returning To Sport

Hi friends, I’ve recently started playing table tennis again after a very long break (~15 years haha). I play once or twice a week, so pretty casual player. I’ve bought a stiga bullet pre-made blade, and while its not bad I do remember when I used to play back in the day with custom made blades...
