Hmm. I think this is the feeling that I don't like. I like my blade to feel snappy, like it is bending and then snaps back in place very quickly. With the Atletico Power and Telson China, I felt the blade never bent at all. The core is too thick. So it kinda feels like playing with a brick...

Yes, high catch and high responsiveness. Sanwei 75 inner is the next best i have found. Lower catch but more responsiveness.

Yes, this is just EJ, but I'd like to have a portfolio of blades that I really like. Have you ever tried Atletico Power or HL5X? Does Pro 05 feel like those?

My favorite blade is the Stuor Harimoto. It has the catch and flex like the HL5, but it is snappier and more responsive. So I'm really trying to look for something that combines both of those traits. I'm hoping the W81 does it. HL5 lacks the responsiveness.

Yes? Can you describe the feeling about the 05? I don't like the Atletico Power feeling because it seems more dense, more solid, more thick, a bit bricky. It feels linear and lacks that sense of springy trampoline feel. 75 inner has a lighter and bouncier and flexier feeling.

I think 1400-1420 sounds good. A bit of extra snappiness to differentiate it from Long5

Yes I did. But I tested with the plastic on and off on another blade, and I found that it didn't make a difference.

Yup, looks about 1 or 2mm thicker core on the 05. I already requested a refund/return since I already have 2 of the Long5x structure blades

I think you can clearly see that W81 is thinner core than 05

My W81 has a frequency of 1420, which seems unusually high for a true limba inner-carbon structure. But this may work to my advantage... I like a slightly snappier Long 5 style blade. The core looks thin, probably same or close to Long5

The W81 is on the left. You can clearly see the w81 is more like HL5, while Pro05 has thick core
