  1. Joola customer support - Joola Dynaryz ZGX

I just ordered a Tronix ACC and ZGR, the code coupled with TabletennisGan's recent positive ACC review plus the fact that the ACC also comes in blue is what did it for me
  2. Please recommend long pips rubber for me!

https://www.dandoy-sports.com/metal-tt-brutal.html I've never tried the Brutal rubber, but it does sound, er, brutal. But if you're looking for a cheap lp that does fun stuff, try Bomb Talent or GiantDragon Talon National, 388D series is more commonly used by choppers and hitters as it is a...
  3. Most controllable Tenergy rubber?

Depends on what the definition of controllable is, but for someone trying to get the tamest and least sensitive Tenergy, 25FX is it. I don't see a point in playing a Tenergy rubber just to use the least special one but to each his own
  4. Next step after Xiom Allround S > Offensive S or Ignito or other not Xiom blade

Difficulty is subjective. AllS and Ignito are on completely different ends of the spectrum when it comes to construction and behavior. I don't think it is a bad thing to test carbon, after all it is the most ideal situation to test firsthand in order to gauge compatibility. But seeing as you...
  5. Penhold Rubber Selection Advice

I dunno if he ever used TG3, I thought Ma Lin was well known for using TG2, before that I think he was using Globe 999 and had a brief stint with BW2 around the turn of the speed glue era
  6. Tenergy for $42?

Looks pretty fake, price is the first red flag because Tenergy is the last rubber to be discounted, second red flag is that you're buying it from overseas which Butterfly is fairly strict about, third red flag is that it uses old packaging and old logo which were phased out around 2014, seems...
  7. Nittaku Flyatt Spin and Rigan Spin?

Rigan is by Yasaka. I've heard its in the Ventus Basic/Vega Intro class of babys first tensor type rubber. I tried Flyatt Spin on a friends racket, it just felt like nothing special, pretty ho-hum. The Nittaku Factive felt more solid and secure to me, I'd buy that over the Flyatt Spin any day.
  8. Xiom Vega series

I had mixed feelings about OVA, it had a good meaty and stable feeling but to me it ended up feeling like a less exciting MXS. OVT in comparison is more in line with a strongly boosted, dynamic modern topspinners rubber
  9. Next step after Xiom Allround S > Offensive S or Ignito or other not Xiom blade

Ignito will be a massively different blade, after all it is a thick and very stiff 3 wood 2 carbon. The feeling is relatively mild because the carbon is buried underneath a decently thick veneer of a very soft wood, but the speed is much higher than that of a regular 5 ply wood and it plays much...
  10. Xiom Vega series

VE felt much softer and mushier to me, and more spin-sensitive. I was surprised at how crispy and snappy the C1 felt when I first tried it despite its relative softness. I think another similar rubber is the Ventus Limber, its softer sponged than Vega Euro but the toosheet is tougher like that...
  11. Xiom Vega series

Omegas are where its at imo. I've heard a lot of good things about Omega VII but I've only used V Asia and V Tour, V Tour is one of my favorite rubbers but it didn't last that long for me.
  12. Has anyone tried Hurricane 9 Pink ?

I have blue and green 729 Cross, I think they were both marked 44 but the green one comes with orange sponge and the blue one comes with blue sponge, I honestly can't tell the difference in the sponges, and at the end of the day they are still just regular 729. With all these new Chinese style...
  13. Defence with Short Pips Advice

I believe its not the same as pimplemini but the Nittaku Do Knuckle series seems relatively popular for an mp nowadays, for purposes of defense.
  14. I wanna play with the big boys!

It might only be tangentially related due to the pips content but I think this OOAK thread is probably one of the highest level accounts on English speaking forums of a chopper/defender training and playing with sp and ox/sponge lp- https://ooakforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=18471
  15. 2.1 or 1.9mm on T05H (FH) and D05 (BH)

  16. Do Roundell rubbers have less spin than Tibhar Genius?

Genius is pretty grippy, Roundell is more of an allrounder rubber imo
  17. Most reliable and long-lasting non-tacky rubbers other than Butterfly.

Fastarc G1, Ventus Extra, Hexer HD. If you're looking for a medium hardness rubber that is still reasonably solid feeling look at Baracuda. No, at least not the original Aurus series
  18. Closed: LF Xiom AZX with flared handle

LF=looking for. OP is not selling anything
  19. Miracle of Long 5

These things may be true, but are by themselves not helpful to playing. When you have these thoughts, I think it might be helpful to follow them up with constructive approaches to these seeming quandaries of yours. Even if it is a simple approach like "I'm not familiar with the serve but I will...
