  1. Need advice for buying my second bat.

Japanese rubbers do tend have a unique feeling, hard to replicate that especially when picking from German manufacturers. Z2 is on my list of things I'd like to try but I prefer rubbers that have stronger spin than speed so I'm not sure how well I'd end up liking it. Not to mention I have a...
  2. Koki Niwa Wood or Tibhar Force Pro Black edition

You originally tried Omega V Asia on it? Have you ever tried Omega V Tour? Edit: that was a different poster, my bad
  3. Why does ML use soft 37d rubber on bh?

It depends on the glue, but more glue gets you a softer springier feeling and more support the harder you hit. Almost like adding another sponge on the backside of your rubber. I've been experimenting with DHS #15 and if I just do one thin layer on blade and rubber the feeling is crisper and...
  4. What is Xiom's "energy carbon?" (Strato, Ignito, Axelo)

Visually T5000 is quite a bit thicker than the energy carbon, and the feeling of my PC is stiffer and more metallic than my Ignito.

Tried the Sardius combo in a serious setting and it was very good! ...when I hit the ball precisely. Its a fairly chonky blade at 94g, the Nexxus on backhand is snappy and fast but the level of grip is rather unpredictable for me, and the Golden Tango is very nice but I'm having a tough time...
  6. Blades with a large handle

Tibhar Stratus Powerwood, Tibhar Szocs are some off- to off speed blades that come to mind.
  7. Need advice for buying my second bat.

I see vanilla Glayzer being recommended but I think for OP's backhand as they describe it, Glayzer 09C might be a better fit, it is firmer and less springy than Glayzer or Rozena with a slightly sticky topsheet which IMO gives it the upper hand over said rubbers when it comes to pushing

I noticed that when I was looking at different stores, but I was able to score a 500ml bottle off of eBay. It wasn't cheap at $50 when I can get around the same amount of glue paying less than $20 when I get tearmender, but its cheaper than paying 20-30 for 100ml of Finezip.

I recently decided to pull the trigger and get some DHS #15 to see if it would actually make a difference. I normally use tearmender because it is cheap and easy to peel, but all the rubbers I glued with #15 feel much better now (3 layers on rubber, 1-2 on blade), I tried Glayzer, Golden Tango...

I found this thread: https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/ma-longs-equipment-pictures-2005-2015.10872/ Outside of ML, Ma Lin, Wang Hao and Xu Xin I can't remember of any other CNT player using Skyline. Everyone is using H3 nowadays tho
  11. What Rubber is better for my style?

I think normal Baracuda is worth a try. Keeping some characteristics as the Bigslam but witha firmer sponge, that is not as hard as G1 or H3
  12. What Rubber is better for my style?

What do you find lacking in Baracuda bigslam?
  13. Yinhe star player Yin Hang vs Korean womens player

I definitely feel like the pace of the rallies and the rate at which the ball drops sometimes feels off, but if not an altered video speed it might have something to do with the low framerate of the footage

Ma long used TG3 for at least a couple years if my memory is correct, although its mostly just Ma Lin, Xu Xin and Wang Hao using the Skylines
  15. Post your latest EJ purchase

I think it'd be worth a try, Hinoki/carbon seems to be a pairing that works pretty well for GT at least with Primo Carbon and Ignito, and Sardius is essentially just a roided out Primorac Carbon

Mercury 2 boosted is a great backhand rubber. Plain I think it is okay, but even with a bit of mineral oil it becomes juicier and more reactive while maintaining its stable, linear nature.
  17. Have anyone tried Yinhe Pro 01x

For a company that mainly gained rep by trying to make alternatives for Butterfly stuff, I don't think its too far out of character for them to also follow Butterfly's business model of releasing the same or very similar construction blades with a different coat of paint
  18. Life, Existence, and the Meaning of Long Pips - The Opus Maximus of James Z

Reminds me of a custom blade used by Kong Linghui: KLHS (hinoki/alc) on bh and P500 (koto/spruce) on fh. I think it'd be worth it to try a custom blade made with limba/limba/alc fh and koto/alc/ayous bh. I'm sure SDC has made at least a few given his popularity
  19. The different ways of boosting

As does post #5, to which you responded in #8 as if it were in response to #3, when it is reasonably deducible that it was made in response to #1 from OP
