  1. Persson seven? Anyone?

Not too much slower, and I thought the headsize was normal. But its been a while since I had it
  2. Persson seven? Anyone?

I used one back in, like, 2015 maybe. Its definitely slower than Force Pro Blue and ExtremeS, more like the Szocs and PG7.
  3. Forehand rubber recommendations

I wonder if it might be color. I have it in max with a blue color and I feel that it's pretty consistent. But I also have it on a 5 ply wood, perhaps it might act a bit more inconsistently on a different blade
  4. Forehand rubber recommendations

What thickness Baracuda did you try?
  5. 5 ply blades - a few observations on my three..

Every company wants their slice of the pie, they can do so by reinventing the wheel because customers are ever so happy to shell out wads of money to claim their piece of "shiny and new"
  6. Forehand rubber recommendations

I think its good on either wing. Its been a while since I tried M2 but it has better grip but less spring
  7. Timo boll 30th anniversary contract edition (G-FLESS handle) limited edition gold tag

I wonder how often he switches blades, rubber products absorb oils and the rubber overgrips and even grip tape become disgusting after a while
  8. Forehand rubber recommendations

Baracuda is certainly bouncy and it is quite sensitive to spin, but in a more predictable way. I think it's quite easy to play with if you're coming from other faster rubbers.
  9. Anyone have a sneak peak of Glayzer yet?

Had a brief 1.5hr shakedown of Glayzer 1.9 red and G09C 2.1 black yesterday. I wasn't terribly impressed with the vanilla Glayzer, seeing the video Zeio posted I might have screwed up getting it in 1.9 instead of 2.1, but I definitely need to play with it more. Maybe it'll loosen up with more...
  10. Timo boll 30th anniversary contract edition (G-FLESS handle) limited edition gold tag

My coach about 10 years ago had a Samsonov SGS, it had a similar foam insert. I remember it got gross pretty quick and started falling apart not too long after that
  11. new equipment for 2022/23

The new Hugo blades released by TT11 seem like more expensive reskins of the Offensive S and V1
  12. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Reason I was asking was that Ive recently been testing Gewo Codexx 52 (seems visually similar to Golden Tango PS and feels similar enough to Sieger PK50, though I have not used GT series) on my forehand and I have been having good success with it, but it's just so slow on my Stratus, and I...
  13. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Have you ever tried out the Hinoki T5000 blades like Primo Carbon and Sardius?
  14. SANWEI new type all wood blade — Echo and Parla

Hi Andrea. Will these blades be available with straight handle styles?
  15. Has Anyone Tried Large Ball Rubbers?

Fingers crossed that the ITTF doesn't get any funny ideas about further increasing the size of the competition ball
  16. Has Anyone Tried Large Ball Rubbers?

Most large ball gear can be identified by the 44 or "large" in their name, they're all made for the 44mm ball. When companies want to reference the plastic ball they will call it 40+
  17. Tenergy 5 1.9mm or 2.1mm?

05 is worlds apart from H3. It's a very bouncy and spin-sensitive rubber, unforgiving if you do not properly compensate for oncoming spin or if you are out of position. I recommend trying Fastarc G1 if you want a high performance rubber, it's not as automatic as 05, but is much more forgiving.
  18. Anyone have a sneak peak of Glayzer yet?

I can compare it to a house. I have neither yet
