A softer, non tacky rubber that works is the 729 Focus III Snipe. Try it in the 44 or 46 hardness. Ok It's Chinese, but works good and the sponge is soft. Sponge hardness is 42/44/46. H44 works on both forehand and backhand (for me). It's very light as well, and has good control.

Well. I like big dipper. Its easier to lift the ball when looping and gives you better control. If you are more aggressive and hits the ball earlier, perhaps a h3n with Hard sponge H41 would be great for you

I think the softest focus 3 Snipe with the 42 sponge is too slow for forehand, but the 44 and 46 sponge works fine for forehand. My opinion of course :)
