  1. Rubber that comes closest to Rakza 7

G-1 and Rakza 7 are the of the same generation from ESN. Even though G-1 is spinier and has a slightly higher top speed. I think you will find them very similar. Both are not that bouncy, but Rakza 7 is a bit more controlled.
  2. Cleaning tacky and hybrid rubbers

I agree. Even though I think it’s not necessary to use distilled water. I use normal water with great results
  3. Cleaning tacky and hybrid rubbers

Plain water is better. Yes, protective sheets is a must.
  4. Common Sense Rubbers

I have not played with all the rubbers on that list, but with most of them. G-1 is the rubber that I think matches best with your description: “Ideally the rubber would not hold back the user, but also not make it difficult to use that the user will need to play very precisely. Additionally if...
  5. Should I switch from S Classic Offensive to S Rosewood V?

I see! That makes more sense 😊
  6. Should I switch from S Classic Offensive to S Rosewood V?

I agree that you should be cautious and not choose a too fast blade. But I think it’s a strange question and advice to only be able to play with Rosewood if your level is top world class professional. Many here on the forum play with Timo Boll ALC or HL5/w968 without being close to level with...
  7. Should I switch from S Classic Offensive to S Rosewood V?

It’s a great wooden blade. If you want more speed, then go for it! 👍
  8. Best Flat Hitting Rubber?

    Tenergy 64 or Tenergy 64fx
  9. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 3.0 - Bug Report

I don’t like this proposal. I think the forum should be open for everyone. It’s ok if you want to censor information to yourself, but I don’t think you should be able to censor information to others.
  10. Alternative blade for Stiga Carbonado 45

Yes, they still make the Carbonado series. If your happy with your blade, then probably the safest thing to do is to buy a new C45. If you buy something else, chances are you will be disappointed and miss your C45.
  11. Alternative blade for Stiga Carbonado 45

I recently bought the C45. I have only had time to try it once, but I liked it very much. Played some friendly matches and played better with it then with my normal setup. I will invest in some new rubbers to the C45 and consider make it my main blade. I will definitely play with it more. I...
  12. Win a Ovtcharov ALC

    Dima 11 Dan 1
  13. Tacky rubber similar to G1

Of the hybrid rubbers that I played with, I think Rakza Z is most similar to G-1.
  14. Opinion on equipment

All Stiga blades are made in their own factory in Eskilstuna. Wood House in Tranås make blades mainly for Donic and Yasaka and some for Nittaku. I do agree however that quality is similar. My own experience with Stiga blades are that they are of good quality. I like the rough surface...
  15. Lower level player using Butterfly ALC and Tenergy?

Yes, everybody progress with training. But most people would argue that an all wood blade would be better and would give you better development. Including your coach, even though “you can work with it”…
  16. Blade splintering due to rubber overhang

I think it have happened to me before as well. I was about to push a ball and hit the table surface with the overhang of the rubber. I now cut with minimal overhang and always use edge tape. I use those thicker edge tapes with “dampening/cushioning”.
  17. Will the new female ITTF throw chopper Linda Bergstrom under the bus ?

No worries 😉 It didn’t spoil my day. I just couldn’t understand why someone would dig up a one year old thread which have no replies . It felt counterproductive to call it bull shit and at the same time awaken a forgotten thread with no replies. But if the thread by some reason was shown at top...
  18. Will the new female ITTF throw chopper Linda Bergstrom under the bus ?

But why did you dig up this old forgotten thread?
  19. SDC Handmade Blades

    No, it’s Antonlan’s.
  20. SDC Handmade Blades
