  1. Are double fish rubbers any good?

battle3.boosted(now) My friend is visiting and I'll make 2 setups for him - Vodak Horejsi APC, Battle 3 H39, Vega Pro 2.0 - XVT Hinoki Carbon, Xiom J&H Z 52.5, Vega Europe 2.0 I've also put fresh DFVP H40 on my Viscaria with new BD H38, and will test all these setups and my setup in next...

Here's a link that @gordonluvsu spoke about. He brings the bat to the contact height level, and then the movement is identical, it contains both the movement which can generate top and the movement which can generate under. And depending on time of contact... I think in my case also sidetop...
  3. Hosting a TTD community tournament in Germany

For me, the best date is during first 2 weeks (or weekends) in July, and also last 2 weeks in June, and then in September...
  4. how to do a push that creates sidetopspin

Hmm, if you post something, what is just only slightly open for interpretation, there will always be people, who will try to look at it from the perspective in which you might be right, and those, who will search for the ways in which you might be wrong... I'd expect this is not surprising for...
  5. Want to improve need Feedback!

I think lifting left foot when playing FH spin, can happen naturally, because you push from the right foot, so I wouldn't worry about it. Depends on the strength you use... I'd say, give it a try, wide open stance. I like @jk1980's answer and don't want to repeat. Mannheim area. To meet and...

I'd say more often than not. Wet/half-wet towel helps. You don't use it?
  7. Want to improve need Feedback!

I think that's a bit of a misunderstanding. The point is not to "move somewhere" after the stroke but rather just to "move", like a very short jump-step, after every single stroke, so that you realize, it is not really "after" the stroke, but instead "part of" a stroke... Sometimes, during the...

Did you consider fasting? ... out with the old and in with the new ;-)

The way you describe it I think H3 H37 might be quite good, perhaps optimal, for you. There is also B2 in H37, but I never tried. I'd think those micro-porous sponges would help here, in the right hardness. E.g. even Big Dipper H38 felt too hard on the BH for me (also it is not completely...
  10. Aliexpress Anniversary Sale 2024

Agree. I've used H3 prov. H37, the durability is good. The H3 comm. I had too, both red and black, and the top-sheet felt a bit thinner, so I can't recommend. The H3 prov. red H37 - in 6 months I use 2 or 3 boost cycles, then it's about done. They didn't bubble - the black H3 prov. H41 did...
  11. Aliexpress Anniversary Sale 2024

I know it's not hard to use, I played with it. But I got over-powered in BH exchanges. I wouldn't be, if I was higher level, and at that level, other things also matter differently, I think. So, one day, next life ;-)
  12. Aliexpress Anniversary Sale 2024

Sure, I agree about the BH. I too switched to ESN there (I wish I didn't need to, and that one day I'll reach the level where having H3 H37 would be better for me than ESN, but that is not near, and also beside the point ;-) ) My "at-tempt" at you was about FH, I too played with H3 prov. BS on...

It's a good choice, but excuse me, may I tempt you with Rxton 9 39 degree and the one Rxton 9 40,5 to be used later?
  14. Simple game-winning hacks that nobody tells you

Thought about it and will try to describe my view. The thing is, I'm really really lazy in my head, what I love is to play, move, move well, get the good hit due to it, feel it, be relaxed, be in flow... and not think much. So I actually enjoy the trainings more than match play... I want things...

So, the season is over now, yesterday and today we played the last 2 matches, in a level called "divize". As a team we managed to stay, we're not going down to "KP1", which is perfect. However, my success rate this season was pretty low, cca 33%, among the lowest. This is the first season where...

Sorry. You can go for 2.1, the difference doesn't really matter now...

Yes, many times. I didn't receive something "false" so far... Luck? ;-)
  20. Assistance/advice with equipment upgrade (1st custom racket) (Update!)

The Neo has glue layer on the sponge to keep the booster longer, but apart from that it is the same rubber. So whether you buy normal on Neo doesn't matter, again simplified... I don't read revspin reviews, the BS ratio is too high. I much prefer reading pers. experiences of people here on TTD...
