Have you tried serving into his short forehand? You make it sound like you haven't.

In my current experience with learning a better forehand, it's difficult to learn to go in to loop everything. Let alone with a real banging swing. Drills help, self hitting pivots help, forcing yourself to pivot in matches helps. It's just difficult and I think it needs to "click".

@Boogar I think NL is making a lot of sense. However I have one tip: Try it out against worse players! That way you will have a better success rate and be more confident. You can also play Rambo tt against worse players and not just get destroyed with blocks.
