Too fast for em then probably!!
  2. Butterfly SK7

I bought a Butterfly SK7 cheap today on eBay. Anyone know what they are like, comparisons with Force Pro Blue!!
  3. Handles! It is all in the handles!!

Hi Lula, i still have my high grip. I tried A Donic JO shape, it was ok but I prefer the Force Pro, I found The Jo Shape a little too slow or a little too stiff maybe.
  4. Miserable Old Gits Moaning About Table Tennis

It is actually my school nickname. Morgan = Moggy No one has called it me for 25 years though!! it has nothing to do with miserable old gits!
  5. Miserable Old Gits Moaning About Table Tennis

Miserable Old Gits Moaning About Table Tennis I am a member of this wonderful facebook group! A lot of members of TTD would fit in well. https://www.facebook.com/groups/318020902008193/
  6. Handles! It is all in the handles!!

My son loops beautifully with A Tibhar Stratus Powerwood, he hates this blade!! maybe you recommend I try the Avalox P700 I have? or the Korbel Sk7 I have coming?
  7. Handles! It is all in the handles!!

It's about the width of the neck where I hold and how I hold the blade. If it is narrower there I can hold it looser and then loop better, might be worth the risk as I love this blade in play. Very well balanced between power and control and stiffness for looping when you swing hard and smash...
  8. Handles! It is all in the handles!!

I really might need to sand the wings here pictured.
  9. Handles! It is all in the handles!!

I can't do that. When I hold the blade it feels uncomfortable and i look at my hand and blade every time i miss a shot, then it becomes a negative and a focal point for me. It is too distracting, it might be better just to try the P700 and I have access to a Korbel SK7, one of which must be...
  10. Handles! It is all in the handles!!

I bought a straight Force pro blue as I thought it might be easier to twiddle, but i forgot about the wingsfeeling bigger. I think I should risk sanding is it as I like the way the blade plays and often end up going back to it. It seems to be balanced between looping and driving for me. Just...
  11. Handles! It is all in the handles!!

I will have to sand 1 to 2mm off the wings of force pro to get it right, i think this affects the rigidity of blade. Might as well try and get used to my avalox p700
  12. Handles! It is all in the handles!!

I have come to the conclusion that the key to getting better at table tennis is all in the handle. Too thin, too fat - is no good! Wings too wide or too narrow is no good. I have a strange grip and when the handle is not right it really effects my shots, especially looping. I love the force...
  13. What blade for mid pimples?

What type of blade is popular and generally recommended for mid pimples?
  14. Godfather of short pimples!! Avalox P700

TBH it feels like I miss the balls that I think are there to be killed the most. Like when they pop the ball up a bit high, or when I get one with not much spin. Perhaps it is a concentration thing!!
  15. Is there a spinny short pimple?

I have just bought sheet of Nittaku SP AX in 1.8mm. Lets see how that goes. But I may go back to a 7 ply wood too for a little more control. I have a Force Pro Blue and a P700, I also have my eye on a second hand korbel SK7.
  16. Is there a spinny short pimple?

I like this wisdom BRS. Just wonder if a little bit of grip will help me. The grippy Nittaku does not seem to be holding back Mima Ito from hitting though. I only want enough grip to assist me in lifting the ball a little on a slower stroke sometimes. But more I want a less bouncy short pimple...
  17. Is there a spinny short pimple?

That seems very hard Sedis. I find the harder sponge pimples harder to use. Is the rubber itself soft enough to compensate?
  18. New "Rules" for Table Tennis

I do not think I can concur with this supplement!!
  19. Is there a spinny short pimple?

lasta I am not looking for a magic solution I am playing well but not against some styles with spectol and not consistently, however I know if I had a bit more grip I could do more and would have a bit more variation, especially if I got a short pimple that was good on digging, probably a lower...
  20. Is there a spinny short pimple?
