Hi Lula, i still have my high grip. I tried A Donic JO shape, it was ok but I prefer the Force Pro, I found The Jo Shape a little too slow or a little too stiff maybe.

It's about the width of the neck where I hold and how I hold the blade. If it is narrower there I can hold it looser and then loop better, might be worth the risk as I love this blade in play. Very well balanced between power and control and stiffness for looping when you swing hard and smash...

I will have to sand 1 to 2mm off the wings of force pro to get it right, i think this affects the rigidity of blade. Might as well try and get used to my avalox p700

I have come to the conclusion that the key to getting better at table tennis is all in the handle. Too thin, too fat - is no good! Wings too wide or too narrow is no good. I have a strange grip and when the handle is not right it really effects my shots, especially looping. I love the force...

What type of blade is popular and generally recommended for mid pimples?

TBH it feels like I miss the balls that I think are there to be killed the most. Like when they pop the ball up a bit high, or when I get one with not much spin. Perhaps it is a concentration thing!!

I have just bought sheet of Nittaku SP AX in 1.8mm. Lets see how that goes. But I may go back to a 7 ply wood too for a little more control. I have a Force Pro Blue and a P700, I also have my eye on a second hand korbel SK7.

That seems very hard Sedis. I find the harder sponge pimples harder to use. Is the rubber itself soft enough to compensate?
