How old or much time has its been used your older sheet?

I forgot to weigh mine before i put it on - but it feels lighter than D09c (but thats not precise just my guess ;-) ) as my bat is lighter after changing my rubbers - my setup is 185g with k3 one side and mx-d the other. Which is lighter - or whether both are lighter than when I had D09c and...

Ive been using FX-D on the BH for a few practice sessions and is so nice! Blocks amazing, great spin, good pace and spin ups feel so easy defo switching to that. I like a softer BH rubber so some may-not like it but if you like T05fx on your BH its worth a try.

Second session and I certainly like it more. It feels lighter, and quicker but i think top end a bit less spin and good safety on shots not flying long to often but net and off a little with me getting used to the lower throw. Not unlike D09c it requires a full stroke and if your a bit passive...

I remember a shot in Dans review with Gauzy where Dan goes to play a shot with a bit of what he thinks is topspin, and it hits the bat and goes under the table as its loaded with backspin.

Yeah it always was the way to try to stop the stickiness wearing off - but in practice im not sure it does that much :-)

Is the thinking still Non-sticky sheets for tacky rubbers and sticky sheets for non-tacky rubbers. If so where do hybrids fit :-) or does it matter? There grippy rather than tacky - does the grip wear off with using sticky sheets?

While its good to practice receive and if you're lucky to have someone just serve to you over and over is great, its transferring it into matchplay where it needs to become 'second nature' rather than a considered decision as you don't have the time in play. After doing the practice for a while...

It was one session, and a drill/coach session so hard to focus on equipment. But tonight is just general practice so will be able to make a better judgement. I have C48 and R45 to try on a different blade too. But on my main blade I've put K3 and FX-D which first impression were great a as a BH...

So I tried K3 for the first time last night and I will give it more time but first impressions it didn't seem anything special. Its certainly faster on low impact shots than D09c but lacked spin at top end I thought. Its certainly got a lower throw than D09c so will take a little adjustment. But...

So i tried FX-D last night and first impressions is its a very good rubber. Seemed to give me so much more confidence in attacking strokes and pushes were loaded.

Plus is FH is much better than anyone commenting here! 🤣

And by contrast to Jha - Arunas 'style' would never be in a text book, but it works for him. Is there such a thing as the perfect way to play? 😀

What are the weights of the blades made up? I have a feeling I prefer bats in the 185g range rather than one of my other bats that 195g made up. Its only 10g but i think it can make a big difference to how they play.

The skill and touch with the belt sander takes some practice. It would be interesting to see how Butterfly produce something with far more automation.
