  1. Australian national players training in Taiwan

Really interesting! For this drill @Tony's Table Tennis - whats the rational to rolling it in bouncing on your side first?
  2. New Stiga Mantra Pro

I think im gonna give them a try too. I quite liked the old Mantra - though it was a while ago I tried it, and there is something about the DNA pro im just not sure about. The slightly more supple Mantra pro might be worth a try.
  3. Stiga Mantra H/Pro H

What Hybrid DNA are you using - too lively in comparison too?
  4. Joola Rhyzen Ice and Fire Rubbers

After trying these rubbers - they are great value for money, a good solid rubber thats easy to use. relatively light too. think they are great. Agree with Yogi they certainly don't feel as soft as Joola suggests - but thats a good thing
  5. H3N prob BS 39 v 40 v 41 how do they play differently?

Sorry for going off post slightly – But what does 39 degree work out to ESN scale? Is it Shore A (DHS) Shore O (ESN) roughly?
  6. Looking for light rubbers (coming from Rakza 7)

Joola Fire and Ice are pretty light and i think decent for what they are. If you like a softer rubber on BH Ice could be worth a try.
  7. What makes Joola Flash balls so popular in Europe?

No one I know (teams/players) uses Joola balls.
  8. Two new Cybershapes from Stiga (Clipper & AC)

I think we will agree to disagree on the uniqueness. But I agree with the point about production improvements, but for that to work they would not have to deviate on blade sizes though like other manufactures do. Again limiting uniqueness.
  9. Two new Cybershapes from Stiga (Clipper & AC)

Im a fan of the Cybershape - and that Stiga are trying new things. But this seems a bit lazy in a way, and almost takes away from the fact that they had research and analysis behind the thinking - if they are going to make everything the same. I guess it stops the Cybershape being unique - I...

  12. DHS fans unite!

For the DHS crew - I want to give Hurricane another go and try. Im thinking H3 39pov on FH and H8-80 37 on my BH. I tried H3N commercial and was ok, but was a while ago and I want to try it again - I am just missing that real spin you can generate that I had with D09c previously. So my question...
  13. Losing pretty instead of winning ugly

I think being hard to beat is a better way to frame it. Playing ugly, which by saying ugly I imagine that is meant by playing in a way you dont enjoy? is never going to be fun. But the biggest way to improve results is to cut out mistakes and cheap free point ,this will have a big impact.
  14. A little bit greasy topsheet - can i clean it?

So just as an update - i've simply kept my bats out there bag and without film and just allowed to 'dry' off (they weren't wet to touch) and they feel 100% better. I think they just had moisture trapped from being used in the humid period we have had in the UK and specially in that venue.
  15. Losing pretty instead of winning ugly

If your working on an element like being more attacking like and looping long serves/pushes then there will be a period where you wont win so much and have to take the hit to improve your game. I dont think this is winning pretty - just adjustment time to learning on being positive and...
  16. A little bit greasy topsheet - can i clean it?

Possibly - but ive always used that. Do they expire?
  17. A little bit greasy topsheet - can i clean it?

Hi - so I've been playing in a new venue once a week that is quite humid and sweaty (for 4/5 months) - and what ive noticed on a couple of my bats is a slightly greasy touch to the topsheet. I always have clean my bats with Tibhar grip spray and a sponge after the session. But recently they...
