  1. Need new FH rubber to my Stiga Cybershape Carbon

Quite possibly. Unless he has an otherwise decent technique with the elbow down and brushing with the forearm and his main issue really is keeping a closed bat angle on the FH, which I can relate to at times when switching from BH. Then a Chinese tacky rubber would help him with a rather open bat.
  2. Ovtcharov ALC vs other similarly constructed blades

It's very fast and stiff compare to other IF blades.
  3. DHS W968 review

Well said. PS: Both my Viscaria Goldens are 95g, I've yet to try the used one I bought 1st (the new one is for the collection). I have a feeling it'll still be too much carbon for me but I should give it a go soon, just can't get over the W968 right now.
  4. DHS W968 review

Are you talking about the W968 or HL5? The FZD is way too thick for me.
  5. DHS W968 review

So many players do just fine on the BH with inner carbon, WCQ is another exemple.
  6. Need new FH rubber to my Stiga Cybershape Carbon

Hurricane 8-80 works well on BH for the CC
  7. Long V vs. Harimoto Alc

I disagree, the Harimoto feels harder and is faster, the HL5 feels dull and slower much like the IF ALC. I had 3 Harimoto ALC, 4 IF ALC and 1 HL5 at one point, and tried several other HL5's which all gave me the same feeling.
  8. Alternative to Hurricane 3 Neo

I'm also going to throw in Tuttle VIP 2018 and President G20. I have a sheet of each that I need to boost and try at some point. Though I'm also waiting for a sheet of H3 Provincial Orange 39' in the mail to try on the FH of my W968, which I'll boost with 3 layers of Haifu.
  9. DHS W968 review

For me it depends on the session and how relaxed I am, sometimes I grip loosely the whole session sometimes the opposite, sometimes it happens at the beginning or at the end or in the middle lol. The W968 handle does suit me very well though so I think I will have less difficulty with this and I...
  10. DHS W968 review

My first real training session with the blade a couple nights ago with my 2000+ level friend was also eye opening in its own way. We're running drills and I was exhausted coming into the session, pretty out of it and fairly tense as a result. This typically means that I hold the blade too...
  11. DHS W968 review

Yeah, my BH consistency with the 968 became very apparent, and one of my higher rated practice partners immediately commented on the added power, spin and bite of my BH's especially when keeping a low trajectory. I think for me it is due to the great balance of feel and crispiness of the blade...
  12. DHS W968 review

I think you're going to feel the most difference in one-on-one training and match play. I personally never got much out of testing equipment with a robot.
  13. DHS W968 review

Yes, this is a misconception based purely on ML vs. FZD, the W968 is amazing on the BH as well!
  14. Need new FH rubber to my Stiga Cybershape Carbon

Hurricane 3 works well on the Cybershape Carbon's FH.
  15. Tenergy 05 Hard v D09c

Hi jammmail, To me, Hammond Z2 is the first rubber that actually ressembles and feels like a Tenergy, like it could be a new Tenergy variant. It feels softer than 50, more like a 47, fast, very dynamic but also more controllable, less bouncy and spin sensitive than Tenergy 05. Tenergy 05 is...
  16. Alternative to Hurricane 3 Neo

I think that’s why it takes him 7 days instead of 5, extra drying time
  17. SDC Handmade Blades

That’s a lot of ifs and why Michael. DHS sells plenty of HL5’s as is and people are generally satisfied. You already have the X version if you want more speed. A higher quality lamination means more cost, DHS has 2 answers for that already: W968 Provincial and National. That’s plenty of catering.
  18. SDC Handmade Blades

Dima is sponsored by Butterfly, so why would he pay $1000 to use a 968...? Also he is either using a custom Butterfly Ovtcharov blade or one carefully selected for him, as good of quality as a 968, you can be sure of it. I think it's important not to compare apples with oranges, in this case...
