ZYL not playing in Yokohama? I think she and Hashimoto should get the wild cards from WTT
  2. United States Smash 2025, Las Vegas, 7/3-13

I had never believed Chen Yi would be a top CNT player. She is to tall and looks a bit awkward. But maybe she finds a way to overcome the disadvantages of being too tall.
  3. United States Smash 2025, Las Vegas, 7/3-13

IF she can beat Ito, she might win the whole thing. A chopper's ultimate dream to win a smash event.
  4. United States Smash 2025, Las Vegas, 7/3-13

Hashimoto has such a wonderful and entertaining game. It is a shame that she only gets to play WTT events and only a couple of times each year. Event the famous Tieba members gave a lot of compliments on her.
  5. United States Smash 2025, Las Vegas, 7/3-13

It seems that not many SYS or WCQ fans from China presented during their matches. A bit weird.
  6. United States Smash 2025, Las Vegas, 7/3-13

IS the bad playing condition caused by US or WTT? If WTT is willing to pay more money, I think they will get a first class stadium. US national and US Open seem to run OK without all the problems mentioned. Is the host city supposed to pay for /pick the tournament location? Not sure whom to...
  7. Chen Hao loses to LP penhold player

Zhou XinTong made the ugly long pips game look pretty. Her play is almost like dancing.
  8. United States Smash 2025, Las Vegas, 7/3-13

It seems that YouTube TV has a 21 days free trial. That will probably work.
  9. United States Smash 2025, Las Vegas, 7/3-13

You need to subscribe to ESPN 3 to watch, right? Can a Disney+ subscriber watch ESPN 3?
  10. Xiom Omega 8?

I heard that the durability of J2 is worse. C2 has a similar feeling to O8C, but it is on a different blade. SO I can't say more about it. But I think both O8C and C2 are different from D09C. O8C has carbon in it, so maybe a LoKi Asia or Europe is similar to it?
  11. Xiom Omega 8?

I actually like Omega 8 China more than D09C except the durability. TO me, it seems that O8C offers more control for short ball and better support for big swing. It has more feels than D09C. The durability is not that good. I used it for about a month (60 hours?) on Alx pro and it shows quite...
  12. WTT Contender Zagreb 2025 Jun 24-29

It is almost sad to see almost no audience for these events. How long can WTT survive like this?
  13. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

It looks like Darko Jorgic was using a blade with yellow handle, not his Tibhar Darko Jorgic blade. Maybe a new Tibhar blade?
  14. WTT Star Contender Ljubljana 2025 June 17-22

Is Miyu Nagasaki using Harimoto super alc now?
  15. I've trained with 20+ top coaches in the world and I still suck :) - AMA

40+ is not an old age to start learning again. I think the key to learn is to start with a slower pace. If you can find a good coach or club mate to teach you how to use your body properly, then that is the way to go. If not, watch some tutorial videos, learn forehand drive for a couple of...
  16. I've trained with 20+ top coaches in the world and I still suck :) - AMA

ALso, to improve in rating and match results, forehand and backhand strikes are a minor part of the game. Transition, timing, and moving are more important, but not many coaches will teach you that.
  17. I've trained with 20+ top coaches in the world and I still suck :) - AMA

From what I have observed, most coaches do not help adult amateurs that much. A good coach is not a top notched professional player, but one that can observe your problem and know your personalities to help you improve based on your skills and capabilities. Most coaches do not even bother to...
  18. Looking for feedback in my FH loop

It is weird that no one mentioned your timing. Your timing for looping backspin ball was usually too early. Quite often when you missed or failed to loop those balls, the key problem was that you swing your hand too early. not any other reasons.
  19. What's wrong with my loop?

I can see that you actually probably have played table tennis for a while, not really a rookie. Try not to backswing too early (wait until the ball bouncing from your side of table), and reduce your forward swing motion (maybe just 1/3 of current?). Focus on contacting the ball at the moment...
  20. What's wrong with my loop?

Practice generally makes perfect, but sadly, it is not the case for table tennis. Playing more can't really help an adult amateur much if he/she does not understand the fundamentals at all.
