I dunno if you referring to the DHS PG7 blade but if you are, it is more of an off- 7 ply blade. Despite being a 7 ply blade, it is slower and has a softer feel than the regular clipper wood. More or less PG7 is near to the characteristics of Xiom Solo.

Not familiar with the price of Xiom All Around S in your area but that is a better blade than Applegren all play and also has a very nice feel. A more expensive similar blade is the Stiga Azalea All.

If i am not mistaken the world applegren has a hollow handle so with 2 chinese rubbers, it is head heavy.

With the old ball, the Clipper CR seems very fast but with the polyball, it is not as fast as before. The oc cr offers more control and flex. If you worry more about control get the oc ce but personally since you are using a Chiinese rubber in the forehand, I would choose Clipper CR any day.
