  1. DHS 968 Thread

I've got a W968 Golden Slam on its way from Aliexpress (Global Sports Store), but then I saw that prott.vip is selling a DHS W968 Gold Grand Slam for $470: https://prott.vip/Product-Details.aspx?productcode=goldgrand Anyone here familiar with this model? And Q968 National is now sold for $400...
  2. Feedback on my League games

Maybe Tenergy 19 then? A newer development and has got good reviews.
  3. DHS 968 Thread

I think the JOOLA Zhou Qihao Super ARY-c 45 could be a model right in between W968 and Viscaria. Have you considered that one? Got great reviews too. https://joola.com/products/zhou-qihao-hyper-ary-c-45-table-tennis-blade
  4. Feedback on my League games

No need to focus too much on equipment, but have you tried Tenergy 05 on FH? I haven't tried it myself, but everyone says it's considerably more forgiving and easier to use than Dignics 09c. If you want to continue within DHS rackets, I can heartily recommend either 301 Z or Hurricane AcB, both...
  5. Double Fish samples has arrived - what is your opinions?

I dig the Double Fish Dragon Shadow 218 Spin 40 very much! Highly recommended if you (like I am) come from euro rubbers and want to transition to chinese tacky rubbers. Unfortunately, I've had a hard time getting used to Volant Phoenix 2 37 deg on my BH. Feels pretty hard and dead, not really...
  6. 729/Friendship Dragon F and Dragon L

I have exactly the same question!
  7. A light Chinese rubber with a little catapult and decent spin

Lazer, have you tried Dragon Pro L on BH, the non tacky variant? I assembled Dragon F Pro mid hard as FH rubber today, but I'm curious to try the non tacky version on BH.
  8. DHS 968 Thread

Has anyone here used Hurricane Wang Chuqin (commercial), provincial Q968 and Hurricane AcB? Is the AcB noticeably slower, right?
  9. Yinhe/Galaxy Big Dipper II ?

So four years on, has anyone tried it?
  10. Alternative to Nittaku PK50 (and 8-80) ?

Where do you get it that cheap? The lowest price I could find is 22 euros.
  11. Yasaka Bold Dragon - Review

Is my interpretation correct that the medium soft has 48 deg sponge...
  12. Alternative to Nittaku PK50 (and 8-80) ?

I recently built two rackets with FH rubbers being Hurricane 8-80 38 deg and Double Fish 218 Spin 40. I much prefer the 218, me coming from euro rubbers. Feels lively and agile, though not bouncy like a ESN-rubber. Recommended! Other "cheapish" alternatives from Aliexpress could be: 729...
  13. Reviewing big batch of rubbers

I have Haifu Seamoon in transit from Aliexpress, but for some reason table tennis chemicals are sent with a much slower shipping method compared to blades or rubbers. I ordered some glue from Alixepress on november 1 and it arrived last week. Will booster make a big change on 218?
  14. How many complete racket setups do you own?

I'm also interested in 729 Blue ALC. Would you say it's soft despite being an outer carbon, or generally soft? BTW, have you tried the 729 Yellow ALC (inner)? Or the blue or yellow ADvanced models? On Aliexpress they cost only 18 euros, so I might buy both!
  15. Reviewing big batch of rubbers

No, neither the 8-80. Yet there is HUGE difference between the Hurricane and DF 218; the 8-80 is stiff and dead as a slab of concrete, still grippy though. The DF rubber on the contrary, very lively and, like, agile as a regular tensor. Maybe I just got a sour lemon with the 8-80? Shouldn't the...
  16. Reviewing big batch of rubbers

I have DF 218 Spin 40 as FH rubber on a Victas ZX Gear Fiber, really easy rubber to get used to if you come from euro rubbers (as I am). Not too fast either, if you put it on a slowish carbon blade like the 301 Z. As a comparison, I have Hurricane 8-80 38 as FH rubber on Donic Appelgren WC 89...
  17. Donic true carbon inner

Lazer, could you please give a comparison of Donic true carbon inner and Appelgren WC 89?
  18. World Champion 89 Appelgren

Reply to review by 'Table10Ice' on item 'World Champion 89 Appelgren'

Appelgren: 7 plies made of kiri (core ply), ayous (2+4), carbon fleece Zylon (3+5) and spruce (1+7, outer ply) Waldner: 7 plies made of kiri (core ply), carbon fleece Zylon (2+4), spruce (3+5) and spruce (1+7, outer ply) According to Donics website, Appelgren seems to be an inner construction...

Hi Lazer, have you used the Waldner WC? I know it's faster, but is it significally faster than the Appelgren?
  20. 729 Bloom Power

Thank you! When you say Bloom Power 40, that's on the "chinese" hardness scale, right? Both my favourite Aliexpress seller and https://chtt.se/varumarken/729friendship/21-gummi/729-bloom-power only stocks 45 and 47. Also, have you tried Sanwei Gear Hyper? How does it compare to Bloom Power and...
