  1. Dhs h8-80

H8-80 reacted a bit more to boosting than H3Neo H37, but not dramatically more. So harder H3, like e.g. H41, reacts more to boosting than H8-80. Note that H8-80 is a bit heavier, 72g uncut vs 63g for H3Neo H37.
  2. What table tennis rubbers & blade do you use?

You need to put Mr. Tsos before couple of such "dilemmas". Of course if you come over here, I'll not waste your balls on Vodka and put you before such Slivovica dilemma, that we will get several articles about H3 posted to TTD in one night!
  3. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

Interesting. For myself, I am skeptical, because I like non-porous sponges on FH. But I'd really like to know how you estimate the hardness. H38? H39? H40?... Btw. in some other thread you mentioned some recent H3 prov. bubbled and I replied, I had no problem with bubbles but with the...
  4. What table tennis rubbers & blade do you use?

For a friend of mine, who is returning to TT, because he has less fun with badminton now, I knew the rubbers I wanted and I had a dilemma whether to go for Vodak Horejsi, or Horejsi ALC. Out of nowhere Kuba contacted me, and reminded me he has Vodak Horejsi APC. Problem solved. Mr. Vodak will...
  5. How to break the habit of a too long backswing?

I really didn't mean it that way. As a competition. But so be it: you win! Good luck.
  6. How to break the habit of a too long backswing?

I don't think your FH backswing is too long. Others mentioned the points which are worth improving already. Your post is about FH, so here are my 2 cents about FH, which I try and I think you could try. When continuously looping, *immediately* when the forward movement is finished, and the...
  7. Finally found the Holy Grail

Its hardish feel. My buying of Infinity VPS is a typical example of stupid falling for inet b-s. The Infinity VPS has a lot of very positive reviews, and I fell for it. A learning experience, nothing serious :-) At least my father can use it. What is important though, that this is just my...

  9. Fitness & conditioning for TT - advice

I know that following is from a different cup of exercises than expected, but still I have it mind. With your trainer or robot: Random balls to 2 or 3 places, left, right, or left, right, middle, ideally with some scatter (not the same place), random, 90+/minute. Couple of 20s/40s play/pause...
  10. Finally found the Holy Grail

:-) Some strange phenomena. Fortunately it happens rarely. Seriously imagine you play a good topspin (one you yourself are satisfied with) to the opponent's FH and he just makes a slow sensitive movement which looks exactly like normal FH drive, only slow. So weird. Inverted would shoot to the...
  11. Finally found the Holy Grail

I hated Stiga Infinity VPS the most of all my blades (granted, not that many), and I regretted buying it the most of all. My father enjoys it. Long pips on FH, short pip on BH. So much for the objectivity :-)
  12. Can't topspin good with new rubber?

I like this graph. The thing is, your explanation is on different level than the explanations of people who attack it. I recently stumbled over this video and I think it applies nicely... Watch from 1:41 to 2:10. The different levels decouple :-))
  13. Looking for high arc rubber

I have Rakza Z and Rakza X on the XVT ZL Koto (I know Michael asked about that blade, and I still didn't produce something) - and I 100% agree. Rakza Z is a bit harder than Rakza X, and still has higher throw. I don't play with this setup though.
  14. Nexy etika vs popular hybrids

Hi there Der, click on your avatar top-right, then click on "General Settings" (not on Personal Details), and then when the page appears, on the left side you see "My Settings" - click there on the "Edit Profile". The <Save> works fine there. I want to see your current setup!!!
  15. H3 Change

The black is classic, the red is Neo - as in profile.
  16. H3 Change

Crisp cracking sound is not necessarily bad, as long as it also feels right to you. I have blades where it feels right, and one where it doesn't, so it depends, imo. What does your friend recommend? In your position, I'd go for H40 BS. I think, it is a matter of time, when you also try the...
  17. Question about stretching rubber on blade

Heeeeeyy, brothers, theres an endless... After 3 hours of hitting the endorphine level is so high, I only see futility here :-), without even fully reading... And I absolutely mean no disrespect! Even the desire to solve yours and all of the world's problem disappears :-) Cheers, and pardon my...
  18. hipnotic, I call you out!

Thanks a lot for the explanation, very helpful. And the patience: Limba VS. Ayous in the second layer :-) When I got to your "Nerdy Stuff" I realized I've been there, and forgot. Yeah. It's harder because you need the same rubbers for the comparison to be meaningful. It's off-season now for...
  19. hipnotic, I call you out!

@hipnotic I now play with innerforce like blade, limba, ayous, ALC, ayous core, which I like. What is to expect if the 2nd layer was limba instead of ayous, all other things being equal? Would you expect the frequency to go up or down? Would you expect it to feel softer or harder, faster or...
  20. What song are u listening to now?

You might argue that this is not really a song. Right. But since I have pressed the <left arrow> key so many times, I actually DO listen to this song :-) Pure majestic beauty energy transfer. Don't ask me what that means. Forza! Freedom! Peace! :-)
