  1. What is STIGA Cybershape?

Thanks for this overlay comparison, very useful! Can you by chance throw the HL5 with its larger head in pls.
  2. Looking for non-tacky rubbers

Similar. Presto Spin felt a bit gripier than AK47 Blue, the top-sheet a bit more quality (didn't detach on edges), durability approx. the same, maybe top-sheet on AK47 a bit softer, not so sure, it's been a while. Is the price diff justified, hard to say. I think both have good quality/price...
  3. Looking for non-tacky rubbers

But those take place before you play ;-) Yes. It's perfectly fine. It is just a bit unfortunate to be convinced that tacky rubbers require some "better" technique... But at the end it doesn't matter either. As langel says, OCP. Or we can say: OOP :-)
  4. Looking for non-tacky rubbers

729 Presto (spin, speed, max spin, max speed) as an alternative to the AK47/HK1997 rubbers (blue, yellow, red, yellowish) others already suggested. If you don't mind the extra $$$. Btw. don't be afraid of tacky rubbers. It is not black magic.
  5. Tackiness versus grippiness

One day players A and B, playing tacky dead and non-tacky bouncy, change blades and after couple of hits politely change the bats back with a bow. Then each of them in spirit turns the head in disbelief: why the hell is this guy making his life so miserable for himself??? P.S. Hmm, or was it...
  6. Europe Champions League 2021/2022

Is it just me, or do those 5th decision sets to 6 points suck?
  7. Help

In the top-right, click on your user ID, in the dialog select "General Settings". Then in the page select "Edit Profile" on the left-side under "My Setting". Scroll down, there you can edit the blade and rubbers. Press Save Changes, it doesn't go to "loading loop" there.
  8. Thoughts on this setup?

That was golden :-) Did you already try the tacky rubbers with dense sponge, like H3, Battle 2, Big Dipper, Bloom Power, which feel more or less dead on bounce? Why am I asking? I think the PG5 is not very fast blade. It doesn't feel special, but it doesn't feel wrong either. I know it is all...
  9. Cure for the EJ

Just in case you didn't yet, check this Manto76's review. I personally didn't play with it, only had a chance to have it in hand without rubbers and do some bounce test, measure vibration, hit the head... It is quite stiff, which is what you want on BH, yet it feels very soft (that really...
  10. Little advice about switching rubber

I tried to find some overview of DHS sponges, found this post from Chairman Meow. No 80 sponge is not listed. It seems nowadays the sponges no 20 22 50 60 80 are relevant. Are there (m)any others?
  11. Short serve to middle of table return: FH or BH?

In this case I need to do step forward with right foot, and then it is more natural to play it with FH for me. But if I hoped I can flick it, and I was already moving in there with BH prepared, then with BH. So I'd say both, FH probably more often.
  12. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

    I just love this.
  13. DHS online store in Europe?

Right. I didn't feel entitled to reveal that, so I wrote what I wrote as a little under-statement :-)
  14. DHS online store in Europe?

So did I. Two times. No problems.
  15. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

Thanks. You know I asked about the Seamoon because of this video. See how the rubber looks soft when applying the second layer of the booster, and it is not that much curled/bent. None of my H3s or B2s reacted this way on the FTL. Harty gets the same bent/curl with Seamoon, and the only...
  16. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

Thanks. What would you say about the durability? Approx. the same?
  17. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

Thanks a lot, I'm gonna try Seamoon and Haifu glue next time. It's a pitty I can't get Haifu glue in 250ml, that is about the right amount for me, but 60ml is OK too.
  18. Rubber hardness

I thought we are discussing within the context of that paper zeio posted. They use the term reduced mass there, they meant effective mass, which they also said. If you have alternate meaning to it, then tell what it is. What's the big deal?
  19. Rubber hardness

Entropy is not a change to a disorder state, what do you mean by that? Entropy is a measure of disorder of a state, measure how chaotic is the state.
  20. re-visiting Neo Hurricane 3, provincial 37 and 38 degree

This is with 3 very thin layers of Falco Tempo, each applied approx. after a day. Does the Haifu Seamoon booster make it softer and react differently - not curl so much? After 2 days glued with 3 layers of Revo Nr3 on rubber and 2 on blade. What glue do you prefer and how many layers do you use?
