That's good to hear - I am hoping it will be an improvement on the 301x, which is already a good blade - lots of gears.

I did the same thing inadvertently to my 301x by applying a thin layer of sealer to the handle - mistake. Mostly sanded off now but still not quite right.. Do you like the 5X?
